Welcome!

Registration to this forum is $10.00 for a LIFETIME! We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below. If you agree to the terms, please check the 'I agree' checkbox and press the 'Register' button below. Although the administrators and moderators will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author and not the owners of Flightinfo.com, LLC, the author will be held responsible for the content of any message.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, personal attacks, personal information or otherwise violate of any laws. The owners of Flightinfo.com, LLC reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

The overall purpose of the FlightInfo.com forums is to exchange information, opinions and general thoughts about all aspects of aviation, as well as on selected topics outside of aviation but of interest to aviators.

Generally, there are few restrictions to the concept of free speech where it comes to posting on this board; history confirms that most sentiments posted on the forums fall well within the guidelines listed below. However, Moderators will not tolerate certain actions, statements, or icons that fall outside acceptable limits.

Remember that this message board is not a democracy. It is our goal to maintain a forum that will allow all members full participation but within normal limits of civility.

The Websitemaster and Moderators have sole discretion as to the determination of propriety and content of all posts entered onto the board. Consider them the Supreme Court of FlightInfo.com—they may be old, young, ugly or good looking and seemingly arbitrary, but they are benevolent rulers of Flightinfo.com and can and will take action as required to maintain a civil content and appearance.

The areas outlined below contain expected behavior by all participants. Failure to comply with these may result in editing, warnings and/or banishment from the forum:

General participation:

If you have a thin skin, don’t post. If you do, remember that there are many diverse opinions on this board and you may well encounter a scathing attack on yours. Don’t take it too personally. Logic and a civil tone seems to work best when debating a subject, and it helps you gain respect during the course of your participation on the forums.

User Names:

Please keep user names safe for general audiences. Racist or otherwise offensive names will be deleted.

Posts:

Posts on all subjects are encouraged, but only in the appropriate forum. All non-aviation posts should be placed in the “Non-Aviation Related Chat” or “YGBSM” forums as necessary.

Language:

Use of curse words or otherwise foul language will not be tolerated. Misspelling of foul language, intentional or not, to avoid the automatic censor is prohibited. Think of George Carlin’s even forbidden words…they aren’t allowed either. No racist epithets are allowed. If you simply must place a curse word in your post, spell it out normally and let the automated system create the “*CENSORED*” message text. That should get the message across. If the system allows the curse word to be displayed, you screwed up and may get censored and/or banned anyway. Use the edit function as required.

We have many members with children who view these pages; no content, either written or graphic, may be posted that may offend these youngsters or their parents.

NO SCAB LISTS or links to scab lists may be placed on these forums. Violators will be permanently banned at first offense.

NO personal information about others or members of the forums, except by Websitemaster/Moderator exception, may be posted.

NO links to blatant advertisements or pornographic sites are not allowed.

Disparaging posts are normal; people have different opinions and conflict is inevitable, including seemingly stupid, vile, immature offensive personal attacks and remarks. Calling someone “stupid” is not grounds for censorship, and these posts will not normally be edited. However, posts may not include
references to racist, religious, sexual or threatening content.

Security:

Don’t post anything that could reasonably jeopardize aviation security. Prudence is in order.

Images:

Icons and attached graphics may not show nudity or pornographic images. Photos or paintings of scantily clad women (or [gasp] men) may not be acceptable even if barely clothed; remember, keep it clean and just make the pics acceptable (a G-rating) for general consumption. There are kids who see the board on a routine basis; we will not offend our general audience.

No racist or otherwise offensive icons are allowed. The Webmaster and Moderators have sole discretion as to the definition of “offensive.”

No advertising businesses or other URLS in your avatar, title or signature.

Links:

Again, no links to commercial advertisements or pornographic sites are allowed. The Websitemaster and Moderators will define ads or porno at their discretion—they know porno when they see it. Not that they ever look at it, mind you.

Thank You & Enjoy Flightinfo.com,

Flightinfo.com, LLC Staff

MOD INPUT: Sure, I can understand being upset! But please work with me here, I am on your side. Try to keep it civil, and avoid creative spelling and personal attacks. And please...please..please do not give out personal information about someone else.

Out of line? I don't think so. I've never denied a JetBlue jumpseater. Despite all of my complaints about JetBlue, I always allow them to ride. They may have to hear me b!tch about transcon turns or cabin cleaning for a minute or two before I sign the form, but they always get a ride. That being said, it's any Captain's right to refuse the jumpseat to anyone, recip agreement or not.

LOL, good thing you are only an RJ pilot, so nobody really cares. You know what sucks? Too many CRJ's flying around lowering the bar and taking away mainline jobs. You guys are lucky that ALPA even represents you.

Okay Mr. Bigshot. Maybe the jumpseater can bitch right back at you about your small, uncomfortable airplane. What a loser!!!

Maybe when avbug is finished tormenting The_Russian, we can turn him lose on Mr. Pay For Training PCL_128. I mean, how can you buy your job and then complain that B6 pilots bring the industry down?

You paid the company to sit in the right seat as an FO with Gulfstream, and now fly for PNCL and you have the audacity to lecture JetBlue pilots? Amazing.......

You paid for a job at ASA, then sold your fellow pilots down the river as a negotiating committee member so you could get half of your PFT money back, and you think you can lecture me? Go back to your older girlfriend, Johnny.

Hahahahhahahhaha his daddy bought him his job he is an rj pilot and he still does not shave, go back to the sandbox Pinnacle boy you have no place here. Just point one means you have no merit.

Enough of the name calling and bashing.

I think we can all agree, that if the two airlines have an agreement, let the guy on without any questions or smart a## comments. (this as long as the pilot is polite and dressed appropriately).

Let's throw a "No gojets" on our jumpseats...

Yeah I know that it is a piddly regional problem, but we have feelings too.... Anyone else, ALPA or no, are always welcome......Just not those humps...

JB is just another People Express, WP, Indy Air, etc.

You can't blame it all on Jetblue. Prior to 9/11 the airline industry was already in a decline. A failed merger between UAL and USAir, AMR lost $500 million in the 2nd quarter of 2001 and that year Jetblue ended with 15 planes and was just a year old-- give me a break, how come you don't bash Spirit for their wages and they even have a union!. Blame your demise on poor managment. Or the way the planets are aligned, I'm tired of your aimless ranting.

I think we can all agree this thread is a waste of time.

We are all pilots here. In some form or another we all have the same issues, trials, and hardships regardless what color our planes are painted. It is truly saddening to me that we treat each other this way. That is the problem with an anonymous board. This childish behavior would not happen if we were all accountable for what is said.

The name calling, bashing, flaming, etc. Grow up.

Look dude, this is a circular arguement, the retort to which is that the legacies had to give back due to wage pressure from bar-lowerers. No pension, crappy pay, now code-sharing with foreign carriers...not a good recipe. Nobody wins this arguement, but everybody thinks they did. BTW, I've never denied a j/s or will I ever to a non-scab, sober, non-a$$hole.

Thats absurd FNG....So what you are saying is that if JB or others were not around then the contracts would of stayed in place, meanwhile the tanking economy, 9/11, and SARS was all around...

NEWSFLASH.....In Chap 11 the legacies would of gutted all contracts no matter what...

Nope, go back and read it again. What I said was that this was the retort to his side of the story and that it was circular, goes round and round, never ends, etc. But some would insist intently that what you typed is true.
