I'm hoping someone could answer a few silly questions:

How long is training from start to finish and what does the schedule consist of?

How long is reserve on the Airbus?

Does the new training facility have a gym? If not, is there one close by?

Do the rooms have fridges in them or is everyone eating out everyday?

Are things close by, or would a car be a necessity?

Are there any breaks during training?

Thanks.:D

There are RV hookups.

Yes, you can bring your cat.

Orlando is fun to tour on weeknights.

An internal rec. letter never hurts but it is not an absolute requirement. I would guess, from being here a few years, that the majority of folks here were hired on their own merits in the application, interview, and background checks. Make sure your application and everything else is squared away, and your chances for getting hired will be equal to if not better than most.

Best of Luck!

Thanks for the info. I applied 6 months ago and just updated with the new online process. I am keeping my fingers crossed, but I had heard most interviewees had internal recs to get in. :)
