So much love/hate for both.....SO, if given the choice:

Jetblue or US Airways?

Discuss....

(can't say neither, has to be one)

I guess it depends. If you want to eventually fly for American, go to US Airways. If you want to fly for Southwest, go to JetBlue.;)

US Airways has 8 a330s, continuous narrow body airbus deliveries scheduled and is the launch customer for the a350 in 2017...18...19 (350 deliver year subject to change).

US Air may go with AMR

There are rumors that Jet Blue will go with DAL, or AMR:

None

SWA
None.

Go with the first one to hire you.

whichever one gets you in class soonest

Roll the dice...LCC.

Take the first class. It's much easier to deal from the position of strength. That is, being at one Airline while you wait for the other. If you like the first, stay; if not go. But whatever you do, don't stay at a regional and vacillate between the two, squandering the moment.

Or flip a coin, heads= Airways, tails= Blue. When you flip the coin, whichever you hoped would come up is the one you should choose.

Good luck.

US Airways has 8 a330s on order, continuous narrow body airbus deliveries scheduled to replace all 737s and is the launch customer for the a350 in ~2017...18...19 (whenever Airbus completes production).

You can always go to Emirates later.

If you plan on living in a B6 base and "never" upgrade (hardly any retirements next 20 years) then go with B6. If you would like to live somewhere US Airways flies and can take the crappy pay for a couple of years, but upgrade MUCH sooner (even if they get merged, it will be a faster upgrade than at B6) and hopefully have a long career as a Capt, go with Airways...

Just my 2 cents....
