pay rumor (in progress)

Those rates look pretty good.

Have the rates increased because of recent pilot attrition or just internal dissatisfaction? What prompted the new rates? If attrition is the reason, how many pilots have left in the last 6 months or so (maybe for reasons beyond E190 rates)?

The first year bus pay in his example is our current rate. The 190 CA rate was based on some rumors going around, nothing more. It may end up being that, it may end up a lot less, or more. No one knows yet. Stay tuned.

According to VK around 50 have left this year. About 20 of those left to go to SWA, a few to CAL, and the rest were recalls. Most of them were FO's and I would assume that pay and retirement were the big reasons why they left.

5% make it, the rest are toast!!!!

ahhh, just kidding.

Hey Charlie Brown! I hope all went well. Usually you will see around 70-80% get through. Sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less but that seems to be the answer. As for phase II, mid 90's percentage. I hope this helps. Give me a ring when you get the good news.

Charlie Brown....I just sent you a PM. Never mind, this post answered my question. Congrats to you and everyone else. My other two friends that interviewed are in as well.

Numbers are around 95 out of 145 that interviewed onto Phase II. About 65% this time around. Congrats to all those moving on and enjoy the stressful wait. Most of the Phase II people will make it into the pool and the wait is well worth it.

You may be correct and I hope you are. But my source says different; Nov. invites will only be offered the 190.

That's what I heard as well! If they intend on attracting and keeping pilots, then the pay will have to go UP, otherwise they will lose good people.

Just got a call from USIS saying that my background is complete. That seems pretty fast. maybe phase 2 is moving faster than in the past.:D

Great News Lawndart! Looks Like You May Be Getting The Offer Before Too Much Longer.

Good Luck, I Know Several Guys That Work For Jb, And They All Love It.

don't mean to upset you but thar bg check is always done super fast. the Pria records can take a lot longer and then they have to meet and decided on every individual. my bg check was done in 1 week, my PRIA records took less than 2 weeks, I waited for the call 12 weeks a a few days. so don't quit your job just yet.

Ouch, I was hoping that would not be the case but am still prepared for the wait.

Thanks for the dose of reality snowbum, till then:beer:

Snowbum...aint that the truth. I waited 9 weeks back in 2004/2005. My interview date put the hiring group decision right at christmas and they decided to wait until after the end of the year since its so hard to get the whole group together near the end of the year. I would guess that nobody would hear until after the 1st of the year. Could happen faster but I doubt it...sorry guys!!

Anyone hear anything yet? I know it is probably early, but wondering if you guys have gotten anything in the mail or heard from anyone. I got a copy of my FAA records about two weeks ago and that has been it. I am guessing after X-mas until the calls go out.

About the avatar, is that better?

I got the call from Verna, Looks like I will be in Orlando the end of Jan for the 190.

Seven weeks from interview to job offer.

Good luck to all still waiting for the call.
