I too interviewed May 2nd and heard thru the grapevine that my background was not finished. I wish I knew who or what is not sent in. I also heard the review board was to meet again this week!!! Pick me Pick me!!!

AH HA! I interviewed in April and finally sent a friendly inquiry late last week... when Verna called on Monday she said they thought I wasn't available until July. Now I know who caused that, ha. Congrats Herk Dude see ya there.
 
I've only been on reserve on the bus for 1 month at B6 and next month I'm getting all weekends off. I think that a line is possible for August. I think that I will go overblock this month also....this place is pretty cool.

These are the type of posts I like to read. Now I just need to get a class date.
 
I agree the telemarketing calls are getting old. I just wonder how long this will go until a call or the dreaded letter.
 
Well, I got a rejection letter today. I interviewed May 2. I am not sure why though because I have no black marks on my record and I did not lie about anything. ******************** happens. Time to start working toward one of the other carriers that are not so easy to get interviews with. Good luck to all. I feel like I missed out on a good oportunity. I wish I would not have made it to phase 2 because I felt like phase 2 was almost a sure thing.

Hey hang in there I have been with 4 121 carriers,furloughed twice and you know what stuff keeps comming up on the " Blue Side". I know how you feel about this Phase 2 thing, but I KNOW SOMETHING GOOD WILL TURN UP. Hang in there and P.M. me if you have any questions about other carriers I've probally been at one of them with my career. Take it easy and look to the positive. I'm almost positive your not the only one of us to recieve a letter
 
I am sorry hockeypilot44! I wonder if my letter is still in the mail. Hang in there, something will come up. I play hockey too, at least they can't take that away!
 
Shoot HP, sorry to hear it! Everything happens for a reason but I'm sure that's no consolation right now.
 
I'm sorry to hear the news. I think that the shoe will drop for many of us who are still remain in the dark after the May 2nd interview and you'll be in good company. I know I did my best that day and I'm sure you did too and that in itself is something to be proud of.

June 8th anyone

I was in the 8th interview and was lucky enough to advance to phase two. I don’t have any info about class dates or airplanes? Anyone from the 8th with more info?
 
I'll tell everyone what I know. I'm in class right now and have been informed there will be about 3 more classes this year. The break down for the classes will be about 16 320's and 6 190's roughly for each class. PM me if you anyone want any more info. Good luck to all. You will be very pleased when you come here.
 
I am part of the April 13th interview group and I am in phase II and starting to wait by my mailbox for the letter. Any one else from that group who is still waiting for a phone call or should I be expecting the mail man to be coming my way?
 
If I do my math right, that comes up to 66 more pilots this year. Sounds like JB is slowing down the hiring.... kind of a bummer for many.

There seems to be people from May and Jun who are still waiting to hear about phase 2, not to mention those who have been put into the pool.

Oh well... guess there's always next year.

May and June? Try a few from April, still. Yea, I did the math too. I wonder what they are going to tell the folks coming to interview on Friday?
 
I do not think phase 2 means in the pool. I was in phase 2, and I received a rejection letter. Maybe the reason why is because they moved me to phase 2 thinking they were going to hire a lot more than they are. Now that they are scaling back hiring, people in phase 2 are getting weeded out. This is just a theory, but could make sense. Why else would they keep interviewing? It seems like they already have enough applicants. Just my .02. Good luck to all.
