Congrats to those starting class, your going to love the ride. Just remember MIA is a marathon, not a sprint. I just heard... no more "Vacbi Bob" for training, lucky you!!!

Cheers

What is "Vacbi Bob"? Maybe Vacation Buy Back ...

Is JetBlue going to have an MCO pilot base.. I know FLL is a base, but it is small and senior, correct...

Since they are building a training center in Orlando, you would think that a future base there will eventually be announced, but you never know.

My guess is that it will a Major crew base one day. I don't see why they would build a training center there, and have to ship everyone in to train.

Right now they train in MIA, and they don't even fly to MIA so it's hard to guess what will happen.

That brings up a good question, How does JB get prople to MIA for initials and recurrent? Do you go to FLL and take a shuttle down, or do you buy a ticket on another airline?

Most go to FLL where each crew gets a rental car. Paid for by Airbus of course.

WOW !!! Very Nice !!!

Now if I can just get that final phone call. Starting the 6th week of the phase II wait.

A lousy rental car?! I heard Airbus was GIVING every trainee a car... ;) TC

P.S.--AND paying for the gas and mx for life! :D
