Sorry skippy but we the pilots of JetBlue knocked on ALPA's door, not the other way around.

Speak for yourself. I didn't knock on anyone's door. You did and you're going to forcibly confiscate 2% of my salary against my will.

ALPA is a closed shop, and yes I will f*cking resent it. You got hired at JB knowing it was a non-union carrier. Barger and Co have done more for my career, checkbook and quality of life than any of those ALPA "leaders" every have.

ALPA is a visionless salary-confiscation entity that's fighting yesterday's battles with old technology. ALPA is like the Polish cavalry charging into the teeth of the blitzkrieg.

Case in point: Why aren't pension funds their own legal entities which are effectively "fire-walled" away from the company when it goes BK?

Oops....looks like ALPA ain't that bright, and gosh darn it, your pension fund got voided again in BK court. LOL. Stooges. Go ahead, hitch your wagon to those visionless loosers in Herndon.

You mean like:
1. Taking away stock-options new pilots used to get
2. Cutting CSPP discounts in half
3. Taking away "13:30s".
4. Raising the premium trigger from 70 to 78 hours
5. Promising us during the last union drive there was a "workaround" for benefits/retirement - which there isn't
6. Trying to tear down the pilots' ability to act collectively to enforce 3A. (I'm not involved in that, but it looks pretty black and white.)
7. Initially taking away the premium pay for sick time (Yes, they eventually gave it back.)

That's off the top of my head. Did you have a say in any of that? I didn't.

I have nothing against Dave. I think he has done a very good job turning us around after we got over-extended. He and the ELT had to make business decisions such as 1-7 above to do what they thought was best for the company. Now I have to do the same thing. I'm voting yes.

Double fail, bubblehead. ALPA is an agency shop. You don't have to belong. You do have to pay the contract administration fee, which is less than the full dues.

But, hey...you can always quit and go play with your kind at VX or AGT.

Adios.

ALPA isn't even an agency shop if the local pilots don't negotiate agency shop provisions into their contract. FDX didn't have agency shop until the 2006 contract, for example. It's up to the JetBlue pilots to decide whether to do an agency shop (although it's certainly a good idea).

Former Airways huh? Let go of the anger, I look forward to hearing your wants and needs for a cba in the very near future. Please participate in the surveys you will receive.

So you are ok being 'hitched' with the visionless losers such as Dr, "move the premium trigger to 80" dumb, yoder, scott, israel and the other blindered 'pilot representatives? I am not.
You 'will f*cking resent it' all the way to a CBA...LOL, medical, legal and all the other benefits, decrying it every day, right? You juicers never cease to amaze me...
kommutr....hmm...so how does JB compare to it? Umm..better than Mesa, right?

"In contrast with its traditional role in armed conflicts of the past (even in the Polish-Bolshevik War), the cavalry was no longer seen as a unit capable of breaking through enemy lines. Instead, it was used as a mobile reserve of the Polish armies and was using mostly infantry tactics: the soldiers dismounted before the battle and fought as a standard (yet fast) infantry. Despite media reports of the time, particularly in respect of the Battle of Krojanty, no cavalry charges were made by the Polish Cavalry against German tanks."

The company enablers on the PVC has cost you way more than that, it is time to stop the madness.

Perhaps you're just being a bit intellectually dishonest here.

If ALPA come on the property I will be FORCED to pay the dues, whether I want to or not.
