PAC is a FREIGHT Co... Not a LCC. We do not compete with the Major Airlines nor do we set new standards for the industry to follow....
Different Apples...

As far as my background goes...I have a few UNIFORMS in my closet. Some from commuters and one from a Major Airline... Yes.. I am not just a senseless little kid who spats out when bothered.. I have been in this business long enough to experience the changes... For the worst ofcourse:-(

Not so, what about all the other cargo carriers, Kalitta, Atlas ( b4 they bought you), Evergreen, Southern, Tradewinds, Express net, maybe even FDX, UPS, DHL and ABX. Your contract and pay affects them. Really makes no difference whether it is on the freight side or not, in the end, it is the same.

I have no doubt, that you have seen the ups and down in this business, that was not the point, the point is your continually degrade the people at jetblue, as well as the company itself. Something about rocks and a glass house comes to mind.

I suppose I could go on the freight board and call the Polar guys losers, but you know what, it just isn't my style and I have been there.

Its hard to loock away when I see you'r EMB 190 pay and you'r POP Culture way of doing things... Call it trying to hold on to a glorious past...Perhaps I am, the fact is Airline Pilots were once high paid, whidely admired professionals that enjoyed a good quality of life....Today.....It's over....And I don't see anyone out there trying to reverse the trend....

It would be myopic indeed, to blame the current travails on a small company like jetblue. Deregulation, 9/11, Sars, high oil prices, Ch.11 etc., the list goes on and on.

I am sure most of us yearn for the days of the flying boat, the days when PAA and TWA cruised the world, well at least the respect there was for the pilot profession and the pay that went along with it. Those times have passsed, to probably never return.

The industry have faced ups and downs ever since the Wright Brothers launched that darned thing at Kitty Hawk, but sadly most of us got so smitten by this infernal bug, that we decided it was an appropiate way to make a living.

Not sure it is, but I wouldn't have chosen any different, given the choice.

Hmm. Polar or JB? I've got contacts at both. Not that many of us ever get to win the lotto twice in this profession (I would consider a job at either to be a blessing) but I'm interested in anyone's thoughts.
