Probably never. After they saw the prideful editorial piece done on the latest F-16 pilot, by one (of many) 130K a year ALPA journalist, they have lost any remaining faith. They would be smarter to go with APA branch representation.
When has the APA offered "branch" representation? Has the APA offered the OO Student Council "branch" representation? If so, were you interested in being a "branch" manager?

Besides, it's not like every other ALPO repped pilot group isn't in some code share junket as well, and most are with overseas airlines.
Very true... you make an obvious observation. One that you could have gleaned by simply reading this thread. And those pilots are represented not only by their own MEC, but also as an alliance group and IFALPA, sans the APA. In addition this is real representation codified by law, not a student council that gets over ruled by the principal if it is deemed foul.

Even if American and JB were under ALPO's dismal disorganization this would have still happened, nothing would be different.
You've missed the point. No one ever claimed that ALPA controls or operates airlines. Of course this still would have happened. The point being that you'd have legal standing and ownership of the work.... its called scope. Is that defined in the student council handbook?
