How Junior are the current line holders for F/O in JFK ?

Is the MCO flying both A/C ? How soon could a new-hire expect MCO ?

New hire movement is robust as there are over 150 FEDEX training record requests on file right now at OSC. When those folks leave they will need to be replaced. They say they're hiring 300 this year but half of it is attrition because those guys are using B6 as a stepping stone to go to greener pastures as just about any major airline pasture is greener than B6. The other hiring is for growth, but with such a young pilot group, don't expect more than a few retirements each year for the next 20 years. That's right, this is not the place you want to be for career enhancement.

As for line holding, you'll be a JFK lineholder within 6 months. Both fleets have pilot basing in MCO but they go rather senior. FLL and BOS are your best early bets out of JFK.

Not entirely correct. Im here seven months and still 25 from holding a line at JFK on the Bus. It's great that they are using this as a steeping stone because we dont want them here anyway. This is a great company and plan on being here for the next 39 years.

Who is the we that you speak of not wanting them there? JB is not a career airline for many, get over the fact that it's true. Glad you like JB, but it's not gonna be around for that long.

Not entirely true? Six months vs. seven months? Really junior? You've got it all figured out haven't you?

You sound just dumb enough to let an Alaska pilot your age have 21% company 401K contribution with NO pilot contribution each year to your 10% 401K company contribution and 5% paycut to get your company contribution, for the next 39 years. That'll equate to a $2 million shortfall in your future value of dollars at age 65. Good work junior, you've just won the race to the bottom.

We're so proud of you and all you stand for, which is nothing, the complete doormat.

For someone so geared towards people presenting facts over emotions, you sure get hacked off when someone points out one of your facts isn't entire true.....

We get it. JetBlue doesn't have the best health care or retirement. Hell, it's not even average. You can stop beating everyone over the head with it, though. We get the picture.

To get beyond the juicers and the haters...

You would probably hold a line in 6mo in JFK, however they staff higher RSV bodies in nov-dec due to the holiday season and above average sickcation rate. If you were to be hired in dec, I'd expect to see a line in June-jul.

MCO= both A/C. We have just shy of 2300 pilots I believe that JR 190 is about 2012ish and JR 320 is 1930ish. It's been said, but you may likely hold 190CA before you get a line on the 320 as an FO in MCO.

Don't bag on the guys who want to make this "destination" airline better, we need serious improvments in alot of places. Maybe listen to whats wrong with jb and understand why guys are upset rather than being so happy to be here and defend the company you've been at for afew months. While I don't share retards salt for the situation he is right on most counts.

That being said you should be happy to be here. Enjoy it, I hope it lasts. Welcome aboard, and listen to the folks who've been doing it for 4-11yrs. All I'm sayin is understand where this is comming from.

We've already heard all the one liners:

Growing pains
We get it... THIS time
hard economy
We're gonna give you industry standard...
new managment
old managment
it's an IT issue
it's deminimus (I still don't know whta teh F dis is)
you can give your self a raise by working more( my fav)
There's more.
This list is much longer the longer you are here that's just shy of 4yrs worth.

At the end of it all the best relation I come up with is if you tell your kids at the 1st of the month we're goin to disney next week... then don't. You say next week. Then next month... sorry we ran out of money. Next week... so to get them off your back you buy them a DVD of the snow white and shrek. They might be excited to get the movie... but it's no trip to disney, your kids think your a liar and don't trust you.

What part wasn't entirely true? Seven months vs. six months? Your kidding right?

Enjoy your sh!t benefits and retirement while you age quicker than any other pilot in the industry as you chisel whatever flica you can as they squeeze you further and further year by year into a quivering mass.
