I did say that pay wasn't normal and happens 1 time per year for me. That is very achievable for any JB pilot after spending 22 months on property. So I will revise my statement for clarity. You will not be able to make a check this large in your first year at JB, however you will have the ability to do it before your second year is up. Everything else you said is spot on.

Dude, that was pretty lame to put that paycheck out there. You can ONLY do what you did if you take NO vacations and don't get sick each year. Completely not normal.

Wow. It's almost like I didn't say it isn't normal. I think you even quoted me saying it isn't normal. True getting sick completely screws this plan. However even with a week of vacation each year you can still make this kind of check every 14 months. For the 3rd or 4th time this isn't normal, but completely doable. Not sure why it is lame. Stating the good facts along side of the bad is a good thing. It's why people come to these sites. To get a few facts along with the massive amounts of BS and complaining.

Maybe not, but we did have one guy divorce his wife on his death bed to keep creditors from going after her for medical bills. True story. This is who we're working for. Wake up.

Yes this is true not to mention the pilots that has sought help from the BPF.

Because it is a once a year occorance if you sell back all your vacation and sick time. Its not just abnormal, it is hyper-abnormal. And mostly because you didn't explain all of this upfront in your original post.

Hyper-abnormal. That's a new one. It happens once a year for me. It has happened one a year since I was on 2nd year pay at JB. It will most likely continue to happen for me once a year until I decide to upgrade. If that is hyper-abnormal than so be it I suppose.

You sold back all of your vacation and sick time for the year, then forgot to mention it or explain it. That's lame. And very unusual.

Dude, just edit your original post to put the "abnormal" caveat in there. Otherwise it is very deceiving until you read later posts where you were called out.

expired???

Hi all, filled out the online portion well over a month ago and have been updating. Resume, cover-letter, rec. letters attached, however application status says expired??? What up with that?
