It looks like the transating cowling cracks open at touchdown, closes and then fully opens (albeit too late). I wonder if there was an issue with getting the reversers to deploy.

How about landing in the zone on speed or if you are not JUST GO AROUND STUPID. These incidents don't need to happen.

I hate to feed the troll, but it looks like they landed in the touchdown zone. You can see the papi zip by at about :23 during the YouTube vid.

16 seconds to get reversers out from touchdown, in between that time frame it looks as thought they try to come out barely--like SWA at MDW, that one was 11 seconds i believe

I've had several 757's where the spoilers start to deploy on landing but then retract again and the handle won't come back until the reversers are deployed.

Of course it COULD be that my landings are soooo smooth...

JAC should be lengthened or closed. Yeah, I know...
