Lets start from the point where the plane is on the ground, (and skip the part about picking a better location, or that they arrived safely, those are a given). This is a perfect example of a Capt living in a box. Could she handle an in flight emergency? Probably without a doubt. Company regs? Knows them inside and out. Gets into an unkown situation like this.. FAIL... You see, there is no guidance or QRH on this..
I know I would have gotten off the plane myself, or sent the F/O, looking for some kind of help. (stairs/Meseba/Signature/called the police/bring them off in pairs to get food or bathroom/whatever)

I'm simply dumbfounded that this happened.
