A little rumor control from the AQ MEC!! I will paraphrase...
All appearances are that this is a legitimate, 'arms-length' sale
with no on-going connection with Aloha Air Group, and only standard
code-share type connections to be established with Aloha Airlines. Of
course we will be researching this further, and will keep you posted.
This sale is not scheduled to be completed until March, so we have time to perform a careful, complete analysis of this transaction with all
the assistance ALPA can put forth. There is no basis at this time to believe the transaction is in any fashion illegitimate. It is incumbent on us to maintain the highest level of professionalism and refrain from fostering unsubstantiated rumors.
