It seems like a few of you are giving this guy a hard time for getting an offer on his first interview. I personally have never interviewed for a job and not gotten the offer. I think it's fairly common to get the first airline job one interviews for... obviously some people interview well, and some don't.

Sounds like most of you have been around the block and that's why you're pissed when you even hear the word Mesa. If you were in this dude's shoes do you think you'd really have the knowledge and interest to not hop into a jet at at 300 hrs. You'll say you wouldn't of course but you're only lying to youselves. You'll say you must fly night cargo etc until you get a job a AWAC, Express Jet, or RAH. Guess what, you'll finally get that job and then your company may suddenly become the worst one to work for. Wow....good thing you paid those dues huh?

Easy to blame it all on one airline and just completely ignore supply and demand and the fact the public is just as much to blame for going to orbitz etc. to buy their airline tickets. That right....your f'ing momma did it. So did all the rest of your family and friends. And I won't even bother discussing terrorism and fuel prices you ignorant FI cock knuckles. Yes Mesa sucks...just like every regional out there pretty much does right now. If you gel laden trust fund kids would quit with this airline glamour sense of entitlement and just fly because you like to fly then FI wouldn't be nearly as obnoxious of a place as it is.

I got my my first regional job after my first interview. And the job market is a lot less picky now than it was then. Give the kid a break.
