I have a lot of anger and I try to spread it around evenly. Most of it seems to go to the company though. I love what I do but I hate to who I do it for.

They need to expand the scope of the term "scab" to include corrupt union officials.

This needs to stop. Somebody is getting personal favors or bribes because it's difficult to imagine any other scenario where this much screwing of the pilots is not only allowed by union reps, but encouraged.

Maybe it's all those expenses-paid trips to Vegas for "talks"... Give me a F break.

No sense in increasing the staffing at IAD permanently when it's just going to become an ERJ soon.

These rumors are so obvious and transparent it's amazing people still buy them. The company spreads these rumors through training events so the minions will fall for it and accept whatever the company shoves down their throats.

And our MEC is in bed with management so even if they could see through all this, they won't do anything about it except talk really loud in the lounge trying to justify all the BS they vomit out.

IAD will still be an ASA base. It will continue to be an ASA base. And the SLI and contract will not be complete (and as a result, neither will the combining of the two brands) for years to come. And as a result of you guys buying all these silly rumors, IAD will continue to be painfully short staffed.

You're right, IAD will still be an Atlantic Southeast, or Atlantic Jet, base. However, once SOC is achieved, there is only one airline. It makes sense to operate the United side with the ERJ and the Delta side with the CRJ.

You do not need a single list or single contract to operate a single airline...Just look at USAirways..

We don't need a new contract for them to move the United flying to the ERJ...They are free to do that after SOC....

Regarding a new contract, that depends on what we ask for....but again it isn't required for the United flying to be transferred to the ERJ.

FWIW, this rumor was scoffed at by DG in RGT recently. The only negative rumors came from the line pilots.

They also scoffed at the rumor that we were furloughing, one week before we furloughed.

Not a rumor, just speculation. Erj's growing in IAD and we're shrinking. There was talk about -200 growth at UAL in the beginning and now they're not persuing any. It makes no sense to support a base of 13 airplanes. The company knows it's not staffed and we only get temp help from Atl. There are plenty of erj's in the system, they're flying more thru here all the time. I'm going to be pleasantly surprised, or I'll be looking for a new base by year's end.

I guess we'll be furloughing again soon then. If they shut down the CRJ-IAD base, we're going to be almost staffed enough to cover the ATL flying, and BH will not stand for that!!
