IAD Temp Positions

FWIW, this rumor was scoffed at by DG in RGT recently. The only negative rumors came from the line pilots.

They also scoffed at the rumor that we were furloughing, one week before we furloughed.

Not a rumor, just speculation. Erj's growing in IAD and we're shrinking. There was talk about -200 growth at UAL in the beginning and now they're not persuing any. It makes no sense to support a base of 13 airplanes. The company knows it's not staffed and we only get temp help from Atl. There are plenty of erj's in the system, they're flying more thru here all the time. I'm going to be pleasantly surprised, or I'll be looking for a new base by year's end.

I guess we'll be furloughing again soon then. If they shut down the CRJ-IAD base, we're going to be almost staffed enough to cover the ATL flying, and BH will not stand for that!!
