The fact that you still refer to it as a "joke" reveals just how serious your problems are. You need professional help.

Nobody asked or cares what your opinion is.

It seems you have a problem with everybody and everything, you are a useless waste of bandwidth. All you do is criticize like you are perfect and without fault. The dude apologized, if that isn't enough for you then go scew yourself!

He can apologize all he wants. It still doesn't change the fact that deep down in his core he is still a totally classless idiot!

I honestly have no respect for people like him.

No he isn't! I'm a classless idiot, and I never see him at any of the meetings!

Next meeting, tonight at Hooters. Don't forget to wear your wife-beaters. And your beach flip-flops.

The joke was insulting and completely uncalled for, and I wish to offer a sincere apology to those offended. I can't offer any sort of excuse or justification for my actions because there isn't one. It was just plain wrong, and stupid besides. I intend to refrain from making such jokes in the future.

Again, I sincerely apologise for being an insensitive fool.

Apology Accepted.

The End!

Another High and Mighty prick. I would love to bring my bat over to your glass house and break every pane in it.

You, Me, and everybody else has done stupid things, said stupid things and have done much worse. Get off your high horse and get in touch with reality.

And with the respect comment.......I am sure he doesn't give a #!%^ about who you respect.

I wouldn't call what he said stupid. Whoever this person is has one heck of a sense of humor. I will defend the poster because he and I have the same type of sense of humor. Sometimes you just have to laugh and not take yourself to seriously. I am certain the poster knew of the contributions made by black people in aviation and other areas as well, but pointing that out before making a joke like that loses it's comedic value.

In my opinion, he said what others were thinking but didn't have the guts to say it. I know, some have more class, yada,yada... Chris Rock made millions from jokes like these. I would have made the same joke, but he beat me too it. I bet that both black people on this board laughed when they read that. He is not insensitive, classless, tasteless or whatever. He is funny. Don't take life so seriously; take time to laugh at yourself as well as others. Life is too short to be PC and not have a sense of humor.

No, I didnt laugh and I am a black poster on this board. I thought it was stupid. But you are correct. He said what a lot of people think. Its America. But now I hope this shows why a lot of minorities get upset about things. Meanwhile, I sit here in Iraq defending this guy

Just because he made the joke doesn't mean he supports nor participates in lynches. It also doesn't mean that he is a racist. As I said, I would have made the same joke, but I am not a racist. My brother is in Iraq also and he would be the first to tell you that you don't think about who you are defending. You just do it. People need to step back and laugh. Making jokes doesn't deminish what happened to black people, it infact highlights what happened to them. If you didn't see the joke, you wouldn't have been reminded of lynchings from the past.

And the number of people that are called SCABS, WHORES, or talk about other peoples mothers.. PLEEEAASEEE, this board has gone down hill dramatically from when I was first on here back in 2000.

He is young, probably was drinking and typing(better than drinking and driving or flying), and screwed up. Let it go...

And I have nog respect for women/black/yellow/green/blue/ET people who think they 'deserve' a major airline job with 250 hours tt.

In my eyes everyone is equal. and all mins should be the same for all of us.

Maybe he's too chicken to break into a jail and steal a prisoner?

People like Yank MY Cobb and Avroach really piss me off, all they can do is criticize other people like they are perfect, without fault and know it all.

I will say one thing in AB's defense, he does contribute valuable info at times, his problem is he never admits when he is wrong and resorts to name calling when questioned. People that judge others will eventually get judged themselves, what comes around goes around, that's the only thing that keeps me from going postal.

OK, time for another cold shower. :)
