I dont know if your goal is to make it to major or you just love flying. All I have to say that if you just want to fly because you enjoy flying alot. Then instead of spending money at one of those Fast track school go spend it at law school or go become a doctor and you will be able to provide a really good life for your family and own a plane and have better QOL.
You just got your PPL. Even if you go to one of those fast pace school it will take you another year to make it up to your CFII and then have you checked into the wait time between getting you CFI and CFII and instructing at one those school (Just food for your thoughts) and lets say you wait about 6 months to become instructor and then instructor for atleast min of 1.5 years. THE ONLY REASON I AM SAYING THIS ABOUT ONE OF THOSE FAST PACE SCHOOLS BECAUSE I WENT TO ONE OF THEM I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT, YES IT COST ME ARM AND A LEG. BUT EVEN AT ONE OF THOSE FAST PACE SCHOOL IT WILL TAKE YOU ABOUT 3 YEARS TO MAKE IT TO REGIONAL.
And then dont forget about you might sit on reserve at a regional for year or about year and half. So you might not be flying that 1000 hours a year that we are legally allow to fly. oh and like everyone else mentioned all of the furlough pilots coming back and young whipper snapper like me with bunch of time making it to major airline (If their is a major airline left). SO IF YOUR DREAM IS TO FLY FOR AN AIRLINE GO FOR IT MOR POWER TO YOU. IF NOT THEN GO BECOME A DOCTOR OR LAWYER AND GO BUY YOUR OWN PLANE. AND ENJOY FLYING THE BETTER WAY INSTEAD OF WORKING LIKE A SLAVE.
