If you are an FO at Colgan who has flown with captains that land over 5 degrees pitch and stand by and let it happen you are responsible for any tail strike that may happen in the future.

Is keeping your mouth shut worth never upgrading due to loss of contracts due to being perceived as an unsafe airline.

How about if someone is hurt or killed due to loss of control of the airplane because you did not speak up....You are responsible

This is not a game don't be stupid.

If you think because you were not flying when it happens that your job is safe you would be mistaken.

The dead last thing you want is to create a problem where there isn't one, and even worse- rally a call to arms for FOs to be ubervigilant by shaming them into being d!ckheads. Trust me, it doesn't work.

If you had a series of tailstrikes, yes. Time to raise awareness THROUGH THE TRAINING DEPARTMENT. But have there been any at all? I don't know, I am asking.
 
Maybe there is a better way to correct the problem and no there have not been any tailstrikes here yet. Hope whoever it is gets there stuff together before there is.

Yes, the last thing you'd want at Colgan is an ubervigilant FO.
 
CLOSE! You erode the line between CA/FO, you have problems.

Trying to change the cowboy culture at CJC as we grow. Bring the young guys up to respect SOP's. Retrain the capts to follow SOP's esp. limitations.
