How far east are you willing to go for an airline job?

Im planning on working in China once I get my Chinese down. Right now im learning my native language, Japanese. Does anyone know the pay in China for commercial pilots?

On local terms an F.O. makes about $500 per month and a Captain about $1000 per month. Expats make more.

You don't necessarily need to learn Mandarin to work in China. I would guess that less than 10% of the expats there can say more than xiexie and zaijian.


As for how far east I would go for a job. Well, I've worked in Asia already and now I'm in the Middle East so I guess I'd go pretty far.

If those boys fly anything like those Chinese Spartan Nutjobs, I don't want anywhere near those airline jobs!!! I'll just stay right here in the good ole' U.S of A.
