So. Company was supposed to issue an updated seniority list for the purposes of the new bid from all 3 airlines. Mesaba/Pinnacle/Colgan. Take a wild guess which 2 have already done it, and which one hasn't? Where have I heard this story before?

Pinnacle guys are going to get dumped on in the next few bids anyway. We can't upgrade on the sacred Q4, the saabs are going away, and why would you bid XJ when you will need to switch to XJ ops and then right back again in a few months?

Well I guess if you live where you will be training, it will allow you to be home with family on a 8-5 "office job" for several months. Or maybe you just want to "grab type ratings". Or maybe you just want to get away from the abuse online as a reserve. Or maybe..... You get the point.

Dumped on more than just a few bids. Pinnacle already has over 95 Captains on the 900. Mesaba is short of their number by 36. The next few bids will be Mesaba only, but the issue is that as the XJ flowthroughs leave to Delta, their shoes will be filled with Mesaba pilots as necessary to fill their quota. Meanwhile, Pinnacle's ATL Captains are amongst the most senior, and those ol' farts ain't goin nowhere.

Obviously you haven't spent much time in Memphis or you live in some very, very sad flyover state.

9E isn't using the ISL for the internal bid (monthly), only the system bid. It's the same list (ISL-XJ/9L) for schedules, the numbers are only different because it only counts for those on the 9E cert. Not sure what the issue is....?

It's not 36 Mesaba CA's slots more like 5. The 36 doesn't include Mgt & Instructor pilots, which are on the ISL.

Not sure why you think the Jet training will be on the XJ side, I should think the 2 200 MSP slots will be trained Pinnacle, same goes for the 900 slots in ATL. If you believe the company, the jets will be switched over any day now

Current goal is December 1st, beginning with fenced operations.

The realignment listed the current XJ -900 pilots at MEM, MSP, and DTW, totalling 243 pilots. Are you implying the realignment award does not account for Mgt & Instructor pilots?

Yea, the phantom and mgmt guys are omitted from those numbers, BUT in the ISL they are listed as -900 CA's. By that math XJ is 5 short of their quota on the -900.

The way the award is listed, does the quota (279) include phantom and mgmt guys or not? Who makes that decision?

It should be pretty cut and dry. It is about CA's on the whole seniority list, not what they do with the position they can hold. That being said, who knows what happens!!!

This conversation is ongoing....Nobody has the answer. I would not expect an award out by 1700, definately not an award without multiple revisions. Whoever works on this is going to go insane. Each crew change will require starting back into fence quotas. I still stand by my "Train Wreck" forecast.

It will be a cluster. My personal favorite was the last vacancy award at XJ, it finally ended with "FINAL Vacancy Award...Rev#2", this followed a bunch of "Vacancy Award Rev#..." announcements. I think there were a total of 7 revisions. Ridiculous.

Just saw that last night, ridiculous. I dont understand the MEM Saab change. Why -19 Captains now, but still 21 Captains in base. And it shows "0" Captains in the proposed category for MEM Saab. What's going on, I don't get it.

Rumor has it branded flying for eas routes. Rumors are fun with no corroborating evidence.

How bout those PCL lines? Ready to publish but..... have to work with company on LOA's. Didn't see those LOA's coming or anything. This company puts zero thought into most of its work.

There are two sim instructors based in MEM as Saab Captains (according to the seniority list Mesaba put out) which they included in the totals on the first notice. If you read the note at the bottom it states that management and instructor pilots are not included in the totals. Therefore when you take those two positions out your're left with 19 positions which is the number they should have used on the initial realignment notice not 21.

Really? NOW? What about other stuff. Remember those leg values that were suppose to be done in the June bid period for July flying? Yeah, that never happened. I'm sure they were just granted a "pass" to delay it to September or beyond. And what about crewtrac? I'm still having 15 minutes docked for flights that overblock+15, and someone manually has to add an adjustment every trip to correct it. It's been almost 6 months. Does it really take that long to fix simple things in crewtrac? Sabre has other clients who get the industry standard: block or better. How hard is it to hardwire our crewtrac to theirs?

Whoa! Those are pretty big changes.

Anyone know what RTW and PHT are for MSP FO?
