Allow me to first say that somethings you (DC8) said was true. Very true! The newspaper thing was true, I really had no idea that that wasn't allowed, I was actually nervous about taking it out because I didn't know, so I tried it and got my answer real fast. I will never say I am the smartest thing out there.

NOW I'll correct you, I have never EVER called any FA fat over a PA, NEVER !! The rest of your easter egg story was correct and funny mind you, I forgot that line and will use it again, please let the CP know.
Take it up with the FA's. But considering your PA rant claimed to have set up an easter egg hunt for 70 people but the FA's ate all the chocolate and eggs I can see where bothFA's believed they were being called pigs and fat.
I'm not going to blow my own horn about the PA, but I know ALOT about customer service and I have to say 98% of FA and customers enjoy it and I have recieved NUMEROUS compliments and other higher paying job oppurtunities and good customer service letters form the company due to my ability that people actually realize. CP, DIRECTOR OF OPPS, DIRECTOR OF TRAINING all included. as for that other 2%, every company has them, I know where you stand.
Ninety eight percent approval rating? I guess this day you were off your mark but it isn't surprising how you blame the other two percent for not tolerating someone who doesn't like to blow his own horn. (as far as blowing your horn, I wont pass along rumors from a certain FA because I tend not to put much faith in rumors)

I can't imagine someone so impressed with themself and so many letters of recommendation from passengers, CP's, and other unknown corporations, why you couldn't even get an interview. But just like your comment that, "there are always those two percent," you never seem to blame yourself for your failings.
Instead of accepting your failure, you chose instead to be highly critical of a fellow pilot who made it for an interview. You called them a drunk, drug user, and various other names. You also denounced Continental screaming how stupid they were for choosing this other pilot over you.
You gatta love you, and anyone watching you prance around the terminal knows you do just that.
about your other comment to me about another airline and furthering my career was slick, you really hit me good on that one, I give you credit! Then I thought about it and talked to one of your "friends" and told me your career history and then some, and I felt pretty damn good for myself......I am more senior than you are at a regional and I am 20 years younger
You and Craziplt are two peas in a pod. Constantly talking and bad mouthing others. For Craziplt to talk about me behind my back is nothing new. I just find it sad for an individual who brags about having been a union president would have the balls to turn in 15 to 20 fellow pilots to his chief pilot friend getting them all fired. He's about as credible as you, once the details are known.
Again the details. My time here is over as I have been recalled. should you ever make it to ML you would be very junior to me.
But just like Continental, I doubt you will even get an interview. Just my guess but I'd bet your chances are slim.
I have always done a walk around, maybe not as soon as the door opens like you would like CAPTAIN! you offered, I accepted, WHO WOULDN'T and I thank you for doing it.
I would think it would be hard for you to do a walk around that night as you were pulling your bags behind you and about to exit into the terminal.
What you are refering to is when ten minutes before departure you came back to the aircraft and I asked if you had done the walk around. You said you were just getting ready to do it. About a minute later the FA ask me why you were standing in the jetway.
Besides not seeing you in the glass window as having gone outside and what the FA said, I knew what you were doing. It was at that time I went out into the jetway and mentioned to you that it is kind of hard to do a walk around standing in the jetway. Watching you storm out the door was priceless.
It was a mistake and stupid to put your name on this board and I apologize, childish it was, I will not, though, like you, get in to the fine detail on our time we shared together, it's not professional nor mature........
