completly petrified...... did you enjoy flying those AE 145s while people remained furloughed? Im sure it went something like this "too bad for those Eagle pilots.....oh well.....bring on the upgrades!" What goes around....

ill take my chances with your powerless threats and little list...you guys were big cowards in setting up that site.....but didnt have the balls to take responsiblity for it....I wonder why that was?...could it be because you knew it was a lost cause?

You might as well keep looking for better with your attitude I am surprised that you still have a job or maybe you don't it sounds like you have a few issues that you need to sort out. I am sorry that you are so angry. See you chose this career it did not choose you, well you can leave any time you feel like it. My friend all I did is ask a question and you come back and claim that I am a lier. Sorry pal but I dont need to lie the fact is that this recruiter and if recall corectly her name is Lynne called me and yes talked to me about a captain slot also she did say that there are confirmed aircraft on the way she said she was not sure how many but she seems to remember hearing a figure like 35 or at least that what she claims, however now that I know the true hollywood story I don't think I will be going there anyway. It is too bad that this industry is the way that it is and no matter what we try to do make it better there will always be p_ _ _ k's like you to make things negative.

I was only defending GoJet....I dont have issues , I see it for what it is....the same as all the other regionals ...no different....thats all....plain and simple....Id say go for it....you will upgrade quick and move on...maybe I came off wrong on the response....get your time and move on...GJ is a place to do that.

I was just defending GoJet from thugs like Lav Service....hes the angry one...i couldnt help but point out the hipocracy :-)

sure, one guy here, one guy there. Better luck getting six dwi than working at gojet. You know it.

How many guys from other airlines at class in swa? fdx? cal? how many from gojet?

The only place the alter ego pilots have found home is skybus.

Your whining about it on here doesn't help anybody at gojet get a job. Get over it. you are screwed.

One thing I don't understand, I realize that what Go Jet did to TSA was not kosher and everyone complains about the pay to fly bigger birds but what about Skywest that is surpose to be such a good company with no union and $19 stinking dollars per hour. What about ASA and their $18 per hour, Mesa $18 or 19 what ever it is it seems to me that this and paying 35K to fly a regional jet with 250 hours is no better than this whole Go Jet thing. Bottom line this industry sucks I have taken some crapy and dangerous jobs to build my time and paid for my ratings out of my own pocket while I was trying to support a family and wasted over 6 years doing so with nothing to show for it. To be honest if someone offers me a captain position Go Jet, Shmo Jet whatever I would have to be stoopid not to take it and why just to please a bunch moaners and groaners that have nothing better to do than sit here all day and write about how bad things are, listen moaners will always moan and bitch about how things are no matter what the situation is nothing is for free in life and to me if someone is willing to give me an olive branch I am going to take it.
 
Casper I completely agree with you....and I fully admit fault for starting and taking part in foolish arguments on here...

There is really no difference ....heres how I sum it up..." regional pilots get all happy when its their company that gets flying.....reguardless of where it may have came from or whose job it cost.....and they get upset when its not their company...very simple....

Do what you feel is right! And YES you are right...turning down a captain slot at GJ would be an oppotunity lost...just my opinion...

However....its up to you

Once again...I know its wrong to start kindergarten type arguments on here... the KEY to a regional is get your time and GET OUT.....its not a career!

Think of it this way. You work for XYZ Airline. You are an FO, of course waiting for upgrade. You find out that your company has acquired some additional business, and was awarded 25 airplanes worth of flying. This would leave you 2 scenarios. 1. You would now be much more senior as an FO, thus improving your QOL. 2. You would now upgrade to Captain, thus increasing your pay and you would now be logging turbine PIC time, which opens doors to bigger, better paying jobs. The company says that they are going to pay you substandard pay to fly those aircraft and the pilot group says no, we will fly them for at least industry standard. The company then VIOLATES the legal contract that you work under and starts another "airline" and pays them a lower wage then what you would have done it for. This "new" airline, known as an "alter-ego" just took away your better QOL, Pay, and upgrade. Even worse, you just lost your job because your company furloughed you, while this "new" airline continued to hire. Would you be happy about this? This is exactly the reason the regionals can get away with paying terrible wages. They know they can always get someone to do the job for less. Stepping on people's feet that put their time in just so you can "have something to show" is a bunch of crap. There are many better ways to "have something to show" and have a little respect for yourself and the industry at the same time.
