A GJ pilot's car got keyed at the hotel where he was staying. Is that professional? I think not. It's scary to think that people of that maturity level are being trusted with the lives of your family members. People need to grow up.

Reap what you sow.........

NOT a cool thing to do but hey sh*t happens.........how do you know that is wasn't just random act eh?

ROFLMAO!

Yeah, you're not going to get much sympathy here buddy.

Immature and unprofessional? Yes.

Undeserved? Nope.

I'm no fan of GJ, but are these guys going to blame every bad thing that happens to them on the rest of the industry? "Oh dear, my cat died! Those blasted TSA pilots!"

I mean really, who did that help. As much as I don't like whats going on there, that goes a bit to far. I love those 'innocent' random act comments. As much as everyone condems them for their lack of professionalism, resorting to childish vandalism does nothing to further anyones cause.

Would putting a tag for RKSI on a GJ Pilot's luggage and putting the bag on the ramp also be considered an unprofessional act of childish vandalism?

Just trying to figure out what the boundaries are and what is considered "good fun."

You, Sir... are a tool. The only reason to assume this was done out of hatred for a HoJets pilot, is because you are feeling guilty about being a Ho and you know you are hated. If this happened to anyone else, they would just assume its a random act of vandalism.

Are you feeling guilty about being a HoJets pilot?

NRT or HKG would be kinda funny too... :D

Well, its a good thing that this GJET pilot knowningly provided his scab-esque services in today's times instead of in the 70's when unions were actually feared a little. I would say he was lucky to even find his car.

Yeah, don't get me started on Duane Woerth eating cake and ice cream with Continental Scabs while welcoming them back to ALPA. He did not even require that they pay a penny of back dues. If the President of ALPA doesn't care.....

C425Driver

They don't have to blame TSA pilots for anything, TSA management will do that for them.

Wow.

I bet all the GJ"s guys are gonna quit now! <sarcasm>

Once again, union thugs demonstrate their MASSIVE power . . . . for verily, they can . . ..

DAMAGE SOME CAR PAINT (da-da dum-dum !)

oh, and risk criminal prosecution

Sheesh.

Hey,
I don't know why everyone thinks another pilot would stoop to mere vandalism, because someone works for an alterego airline. Hundreds, no thousands of cars are keyed on a daily basis, otherwise how would Earl Schibe stay in bidness.
If a pilot wanted to really get to the offensive pilot he would post the auto make, model, year, color and hotel where it was parked, on an internet site that auto theives frequent,www.stealacar.com. or call a towing company to have it towed to an undisclosed impound lot so it could be stored safely, without fear of "keying" or other malicious damages. It is kinda like going down to the local garden center and buying 3 or 4 yards of pea gravel with cash and having it delivered midday to the front lawn of the offensive person's house, or even having manure substituted for the gravel. But all of these things are wrong and we should just stand together and sing kumbaya until things turn to the better.

Really, so the guy files a claim with his insurance carrier and gets a new paint job out of the deal.

Everybody who pays car insurance just got nicked by a criminal.

I can dig it.

Hey, remember that Comair dude that was caught stealing that trophy from a sport stadium where the cops noggined that guy so bad he was wearing a turban in his mug shot? Be that guy!

What fascinates me is all the pilots who will say, yeah, it shouldn't happen, BUT...

Losers. No wonder you are getting your arses handed to you in the regional industry, with tactics like these.

Yeah, you're right. Should they have wired the ignition instead?

Here's how I see it:

1. We don't know why the car got keyed (yes, I'm serious). Maybe he gave someone the finger in traffic or was rude to a hotel employee. This is only circumstantial evidence right now.

2. GhoJets pilots have to realize what they might be getting into when they took the job. They knew the majority of airline pilots were against them and dumb stuff like this might happen.

3. Finally, this is really a stupid act. Yes, I realize what I said in #2 but that does NOT mean I condone it. Really... does keying one idiot's car make the industry better? Is he going to quit and start picketing for ALPA? Nope.

4. If they were true scabs and crossing a picket line, I might feel differently. But it is still chicken s***. If you don't like what the guy is doing, tell him to his face, don't vandalize his car (if that's in fact what happened).

This industry still sucks.

Why not have some balls and say it to his face? Vandalism is a very low and is a cowards way to deal with this situation.

Huh?

At those wages, I bet it was NOT a Lexus!
I guess I'm kind of confused, why is everyone saying below industry standard wages... When GJ offered me a position in their ground school they said the pay for a GJ FO was the SAME as a TSA FO...? Can someone clear this up for me?

With their integrity.....

Who's to say that the GJ pilot didn't key the car himself and then turn it into the insurance company.

TSA FO pay kinda sucks and is most likely on the low end of industry average. (Thats one reason 4 more years would suck). TSA also gets block or better where GJ gets only block time. Block or better pay usually adds a few hundred bucks to your bank account by the end of the month. So even though the hourly wage is the same the end of month take home pay is a few hundred less.

Are you sure those werent your own fingernail marks from a little late night lot lizard love. ?

You know hearing everybody down on GJ pilots got me thinking. A lot of these guys interviewing and going to work for GJ may not even know of all the childish controversy surrounding it. If I didn't occasionally come to this message board and read the posts from you children (with some exceptions) I wouldn't know that I am not "supposed" to work for GJ. Why do you feel these people should give a rats a** about TSA pilots? Or the crybaby awac pilots who have been vocal about GJ as well. I mean awac?? Who in the hell do they think they are? All their planes will be at work with USAir..
