You are wrong about that one too. UPS did not declare a hull loss on that plane either. It has been officially retired and will be parted out.
 
Sent an e-mail to the MEC asking if they were going to rush another TA. The answer is NO, they intend to take their time. Also made the point that minus the 1113 threat, parking airplanes etc.. the vote surely would have been 70-75%, asked them to treat negotiations as if 75% voted against.

Time will tell,
 
As a minimum the committee should negotiate a lifting of the pay freeze, using the pay scale previously negotiated in our current contract, and solidify the monthly bid cycle. No more of this rotating bid with carry-ins, outs without overtime pay. I don't think I am off base in this, but what do you guys think?
