Personally, I do not think you have my best interest at heart either. I just feel so sorry for all the guys/gals that have to come over and be apart of your so called CULTURE. After my hubby turned down the job at Southwest (yes he did and was happy to do so) so I could continue with my flying career I felt bad but now I am thanking God. He loves Fedex and made the right choice. If he would have to fly with you guys that would be a real hell.
I just don't get why you want to step all over someone to get one up in life? You have a real character flaw. I will be praying for your wife and children.
Thank you doctor laura.
I believe my response to OYS was warranted. Sorry you don't see it that way. You stick with whatever misconceptions you want. I certainly have stepped on no one and helped more than I can count.
I wasted my time coming here to see if there was any semblance of truth to the comments I'd been hearing from other crew members about how bad SWA and SWA pilots were being trashed by some at AAI and a couple OAL's on this forum. And, I lived in the vacuum of our own forums and had not had the opportunity to mix/mingle on forums with pilots from other airlines and thought it would be a good thing.
Once I read some of the stuff, and trust me I didn't just read stuff post 9/27 I read stuff from way back, it's painfully obvious that there is no love, middle ground, or reasoning on this forum.
I never claimed to have your best interest at heart. That is your job and the people you pay to do that for you. I am watching out for my interests and the people I pay to do that are as well. Take notice that I never took any cheap shots at the Airtran pilots, or at Airtrans MEC. I told facts about ALPA National and they were not disputed, only spun, and I haven't and won't dispute your unions right to "rethink" the wording of the process agreement. That's their right and that's what you pay lawyers for.
FWIW I had a chance to ride shotgun on a road trip to Artesia with two great guys from FEDEX. They had no love for Fred and the company and they only confirmed my decision to come to SWA. Just my opinion.
I'm out of here. It has been a total waste of time. If the pilots of Airtran are well represented by the group that frequents this site then it's going to be a fun ride.
I'll save the you the trouble. I won't let the door hit me in the a$$ on the way out.
