Easy to say from the guy that did not get screwed over by the Goatjet pilots. Easy to say from the guy that isnt being asked to give up hos paycheck. Dickhead. Maybe you should support US

Great, I support you. What's that gonna do for you? Give you a warm fuzzy because you have our sympathy? OK, if that's what you want...

What I'm trying to tell you is that you have to think outside of the box, have the balls to stand up for yourself, and actually do it.

Do you think Hulas would let every single TSA pilot resign over G0Jets? You muster up balls and stage a mass resignation *IN PROTEST OF G0JETS* and hit the sonofabitch where it hurts - his pocket, by grounding his entire American Connection side of the house. Put it this way - HE CANNOT REPLACE YOU OVERNIGHT!!! He'll negotiate to get you guys back. There are no ERJ pr J41 guys qualified in your equipment he can replace you with overnight. It'd take some time - a time that would work against him by the second. Trust me... it would surprise you how fast he'd start negotiating in good faith.

Your management has learned to circumvent RLA, and until you learn to do the same thing, you'll continue to get hosed by them.

Been a long time since I posted here...
But can we get back to the subject..... The Pay Scale!?

We know the scale due to the link to the "other" board, but it doesn't seem to mention work rules and schedules. So here is my question.

How many days on/off a month and at what guarantee?
Block or better or schedule (think I know the answer, want to hear it from one of thier pilots!)?
Cancellation pay? Junior assignments? Duty day?

Anyone who knows me (and there are probably a lot of you out there!) knows how I feel about G0J3TS. It still brings a smile to me whenever I jumpseat and the pilots notice my stickers/ID backers and ask about the issue and lend us their support. This includes, in the past month, a USAir 330 crew, a Delta 767 crew, a PSA crew, along with numerous CHQ crews. Thanks guys.

The problem is that way too many pilots would not go through with this. You would have a hundred or so that would follow through and then five times as many that would back out. So again the ones that stood up would be out of a job. Besides, Hulas is just stubborn enough to let the Trans States ship completly sink just to spite the TSA pilots. He is already Phasing us out as it is. I have noticed alot of our senior pilots have there head in the sand as far as the future of TSA.

I didn't say it would be easy. It would take leadership, spine and major cojones.

Hulas might be stubborn to let Trans States sink under HIS TERMS. Trust me, he wouldn't want it under your terms.

Traditional ways obviously don't work. Time to start thinking outside of the box... it'll involve difficult decisions. Your pilot group has control over this, they just choose not to exercise it out of fear. Or maybe the issue isn't important enough for them. Whatever the case may be... the decision is yours.

I wish you guys good luck.

The TSA pilot group is going to do nothing to stop Uncle H from doing this, sorry thats my point of view as a recently, wrongly, furloughed tsa pilot. Blame the MEC, blame hulas, blame RAMOS, blame whoever you want, but the end result is still nobody doing anything to stop this. I flew with a guy yesterday that had already resigned himself to the fact that he would be at blowjet within a year because he wouldnt move from St. Louis. He was pretty senior, but still, COME ON. He was just gonna take it.

Your not going to help anybody by not taking a job when the unemployment line looks like your future. Always easy for everyone to say your a lazy bum, get a job...but then when you do now your called a scab? Well than I want on the alpa payroll at 23 bucks an hour for not going to gj.....bet I wont get a dime from them but they are more than happy to take 2 percent of my pay.

Well to answer your questions. I have 16 days off for the month of July with an 84 hr line. Yes we are schedule block, but we have soft credits which are day guarantee of 5 hrs pay, this mean that if I fly only 1 hr for the day I still get paid a minimum of 5 hours of flight pay. J/A is paid time and a half. Cancellation pay we don’t have, but if a flight is cancelled we still are covered by our 5 hr day credit. I will SAY THIS AGAIN, WE ARE IN PILOT NOGOTIATIONS AND HAVE TA 90% OF OUR CONTRACT MOST OF THE WORK RULES CAME FROM HORIZON AIRLINES CONTRACT!

I was talking to Dario today sounds like he thinks that TSA is going to be taking a Pay cut in there next contract who lowing the bar now! Should have voted yes. TSA wouldn’t have had to furlough 1 pilot IF THEY JUST VOTED YES!

How about answering my question? Rsspilot and the other g0jet alter ego pilots can't/won't. How about you? For the millionth time:

Keep dodging, confusing, obfuscating. But you can't run from the alter ego that you joined. So answer:

Go try your alter ego game at Fedex. Tell them that you will fly the A380 for less and start with zero seniority. How do you think that will go over?

Oh, but you would "like" your job at Fedexg0jet. It wouldn't be ok there, and its not ok here.

swordfish,
I call total BS on the 5 hour guarantee. Simply not true. I guess if you figure the 15 days you will be working and divide your guarantee by it, then yes, you are getting 5 hours a day. That is entirely different than a trip or duty rig. Don't try and fool people into thinking you have good work rule and soft pay credits.

There will be no paycuts at TSA. My vote will be NO until the doors close.

You should have said NO. But instead you will be forever tainted with the stink of GJ. Good Luck

"I was talking to Dario today sounds like he thinks that TSA is going to be taking a Pay cut in there next contract who lowing the bar now!Should have voted yes. TSA wouldn’t have had to furlough 1 pilot IF THEY JUST VOTED YES"

Swordfish..
Since you mentioned Dario's name in your post, and I use my real name when I post, would you be willing to put your name on your post?

I will actually bet my job, thats right, you heard me, my job... that we ( or whomever is still at TSA, if it even exsists in a few years ) will not accept a CBA that has LOWER payscales then what we have now. Why someone would post something like that, I just don't know.

I make 63.84 an hour to fly an EMB145. Block or better.
If your payscales on that other site are real, and I have seen them before somewhere else, I'd be making either 64 or 66 an hour. Based on the companies letter about carrying over 5 years of longevity if you left TSA for G0J3TS.
SO I'd be making either .16 cents an hour more... or 2.16 an hour more.. to fly an aircraft that has 36% more seats!
I voted no, and I don't regret it. The only thing I regret is that the management team at TSA doesn't care about it's employees and didn't want to share in the sucsess of TSA.

I've said this before... If I had 100 million dollars and decided to "Start" an airline to feed a major, I bet that major would have laughed at me. G0J3T was made possible by TSA and the hard work of ALL TSA employees. To do what our management has done to our pilot group is a shame.
I will never have any respect for any pilot, especially a TSA pilot, who went over there just to better themselves without looking at the writing on the wall. It may take a few years, or maybe 5 to 10 years.. but someday the management of "your" airline will do to you what "ours" is doing to us.

And my last ? is this.. do you think Mr. HK will show a profit of 26 million this year or the next? TSA was always his cash cow... now it's schrinking.. think G0J3TS will be able to make up the difference.. that much that quick?

To every other pilot out there...

This is exactly the problem with unions. The pilots that are making 65 an hour have the power to reject flying that would have benefitted the pilots that make 22 an hour. IF you would have said yes, than you could have just continued in your 50 seater and let the other pilots that would have been happy to make a dollar an hour more to fly the 66 seat jet. In this industry, there is no significant pay raise to go from 50 to 66 seat jets.

Why would any pilot want to remain unemployed in such a fragile profession just to make a point that management should pay me an extra thousand dollars a year for a bigger jet. Not like flying a 737 to a 767. It is only 16 seats.

You have to see the bigger picture.

75% 'yes' vote. Part of the 22/hr crowd and proud to have voted 'no.'

Another way of looking at it, is that you are hauling over 30% more people. That is 30% more revenue for hk. Shouldn't you get a cut?
