We had a GJ pilot try to jumpseat a few days ago. He gets on the plane and his exact words are "Hey guys I'm a jumpseater but I got a seat in the back, just wanted to say hi." Then he turned around and started walking to his seat. Didn't tell us his name, his airline, or show any credentials. Didn't even stick around long enough for us to get a word in. We both kinda chuckle over it for a second, then asked the FA to get him back up to the cockpit. When the Captain asked him for his stuff, he handed them over as if he knew he was gonna get bounced. Better luck next time buddy.

Both of your jobs are more secure now from your actions (somehow). Well done!

Dont worry next time ill make sure they have some ID-90s in their bag. That way he can go get his boarding pass come back and say ill be in the back if you need me prick thanks for the free peanuts. Actually the best time to say this would be after the flight. Then watch the captain get all angry and realize theres nothing he can do about it. Hysterical. Oh sure try and call security, for someone with a valid boarding pass? I Dont think so.

That just goes to show you how incredibly stupid you are dumba$$!
The captain can have anyone removed for "safety of flight reasons."
But you are an f/o, so you don't know. Save your breath later for your inflatable date! You are wasting good oxygen!

Ha try to let that argument fly because I dont like XXX airline im not letting someone with a VALID BOARDING PASS on. Captains authority doesnt mean the ego can run wild. There must always be a checks and balances system which is what the ID-90 is for. You say thanks for the ride prick after the flight. Thats why Im saying dont even intro yourself until after the flight is over in which case the captain can do absolutely nothing!!! You can say thanks for the CHEAP ride but not free ride since the ID-90 does cost some money. Boy those ID-90s sure come in handy.

The ID-90's were not created to override capitans authority. They are just anothe one of the passes to get on board the airplane.

Management wants pilots to fight each other, so you and some of your closest like-minded friends tap dance on cue.

Dance puppets......DANCE!!!

How illuminating. A very interesting, cogent argument. Thank you. I realize now that you are correct and that an alter ego whipsaw is in my best interests.

You will fit in nicely with the weakest tsa pilots that went over to g0jet.

You posted nonsense earlier; were refuted and now all you can post is

"its a cold cold world" and "Dance puppets...DANCE!"

You have TSH management written all over you.

Your response to a whipsaw alter ego? If you can't beat em join them!

Thanks for the tip. Let me guess...we should..hmm...move on? Right?

That is what all the g0jet guys are hoping for, but sorry, its not happening.

....

I personally think that all of this tough guy stuff is a waste of energy and all going to end up being for nothing. Im going to assume from the post that he didnt get one. So i'd like to know how the captain worded this to the JS'er.

They werent created for that purpose however its a great tool to over-ride captains who abuse their authority. The beautiful part is its a pass you paid for so unless they wanna start kicking off people with valid passes and have to do some backpedaling later its in their best intrest to drop it. Its a good way to rub salt in the wound though saying thanks for the ride after the flight and seeing the look on his face realizing he cant do a thing about it.

How many commuters can afford to keep "several ID 90's" as backup? Using 2 passes a week for a round trip commute would be costly. That is a lot of cash tied up for any regional pilot....more so when working for less at an alter ego!

carry on.

Not for D'angelo he is saving money from not paying union dues.

Costly perhaps however you can always non rev on your united passes or whatever. More costly would be to get stuck every week. I highly doubt you would have to use them every week though. Just the occasional blowhard then you can wave the ID-90 after you get off the plane and tell him thanks for the ride. Also if the gate agent instructs them to take a seat just simply go and take your seat, your only doing what the agent told you to do. If captains are gonna be pricks about it simply take your seat if the agent tells you to go sit down. Otherwise you still have to check w/ the captain in but thats when the ID-90 comes in handy if he gives you any lip.

Too bad on united you have to take your papers up to the capitan.

I dont know about specific airlines however I know for sure there are some that give you a seat assignment at the gate and specifically instruct you to take your seat. I rode on American once and thats what they told me to do. I checked in anyway however techincally if the gate tells you not to check in and just take your seat then your just following the rules. If thats their policy who would you be to argue with it? Also if its mainline united im sure go-jet has some type of non rev arrangement with them. I dont know if there is a fee but if denied simply get your pass and continue on your way. If its free anyway and theres seats dont even bother with the jumpseat and just get a pass. If the flight is full then your out of luck.

That is what all the g0jet guys are hoping for, but sorry, its not happening.

So explain to me how denying a jumpseat to a go-jets guy helps a TSA pilot, o enlightened one.

I would love for somebody to deny me a jumpseat somewhere and then see his/her resume come across my desk, military or civilian. Imagine the backpeddling and buttkissing that fool would be doing in the interview

First of all TSA is furloughing 20 pilot that where in ground school because they were pumping up there pilots for the COEX flying, so when they did get the flying they had no work for them.

Second, you guys had five chances let me repeat that 5 chances to fly the CRJ700 and you turned it down 5 time. Grow a sack and move on with you decision like ALPA did.

Third of all, no one give a rats ass about TSA OR G0jet. Except the 6 people on flightinfo that keep bring up the same points up. (Time to change your screen names so people think more pilot care, Move on.)
And why your pilots that are being furloughed and cant be hired at G0jet, it because your pilot group never wanted the flying from the start
CONCLUSION
The Board finds that TSA and ************************* are not operating as a single transportation system for representation purposes under the RLA for the craft or class of Pilots. Accordingly, ALPA’s application in File No. CR-6885 is converted to NMB Case No. R-7069 and dismissed.

Fourth I lessened in on your little ALPA meeting over the phone last week: sound like ALPA doesn’t support TSA on the G0jet matter any more.

You are a pecker headed little punk kid. Go out in the real world and do something else besides flying planes before you start spouting your misinformed BS. I am sure you came form one of those pilot mills that put you in a shiny jet with a whole 500 hours. PFT Mfker.

Yup, there were guys in ground school in anticipation of the CoEx flying. Personally I had no desrie to see it go to TSA even tough it would have shortened my upgrade time a bunch. But I really do not what to see my career advance with another walking the street because of management screwing their pilot group (Continental).

Next, you sackless wonder, TSA voted ONCE, ONCE, ONCE, ONCE!!! This was an extention with a 1.5% raise over the next four years. With this you were limited in how often you could submitt a bid on the 700 flying. And to top it off, the scumbags had furlough protection.

So you little maggot, get the facts before you start with your drivel. By the way, I could care less how old you are or where you went to school, you fit the type. Just a punk kid.

Basically, you make the conditions rather uncomfortable for them. They have two choices, continue at HoJet and move to Stink Louis or find another job.

Hmmm, so now you're a Chief Pilot? What about the TSA guys at FedEx that veto a resume from someone else. It's my understanding it has happneed even though a couple managed to get on before they caught on there. If i ever wind up in the position to look at resumes, Freedom A listers and GJ guys might as well hang it up. I can play company man and loyal there first since my paycheck comes from them but I am sure as hell, not going to sit back and let those guys walk away scott free for their spineless actions.

I don't begrudge anyone the oppurtunity to feed his family but now those guys are costing others their jobs and there are plenty of other companies hiring right now. It's just wrong of management and the GJ pilots are "enablers" plain and simple.

So who are you FlyHiToo, FuelFlow??? Please tell us.

I never spoke of denying a jumpseat. You continually defend g0jet and the pilots that joined an alter ego airline, and that is what I took you to task for. I am sure, 100% sure, that you will never see those resumes, so quit fantasizing about yourself in a position of power.

The g0jet guys are facing the consequences of their actions; they are ostracized throughout the industry. Maybe not 100% of ALPA's 60,000 pilots know the nature of g0jet, but the g0jet piltots will always wonder how many are out there that are well aware of their alter ego status.

Enlightened yet?

Well said, Turkey.

He is not our old buddy FuelFlow. FuelFlow holds a special place since he is one of the original g0jet pilots; plus he sounds very different from this moron.

Stage = childish, juvenille, and taunting.
Fuelflow = capable of contradictions with 100% conviction and some of the nuttier comments you will ever hear. But he doesn't taunt like a five year old.

I'd go live on the street and beg for spare change before I'd kiss the ass of some scumbag HoJetter just because he's sitting on an interview board (never happen anyway).

"You work for HoJets, huh? Denied!"

Do you realize that your mere presence in this industry is impeding someone's ability to feed their families? Every pilot junior to you is in a worse position because you have the audacity to want to keep flying and feed your family through aviation. Some snot-nosed CFII is working for illegal immigrant wages because you denying him a chance to interview to replace you. Where is your compassion for that guy?

Don't pretend that you all arent looking out for your own best interests first. There are X number of jobs in this industry at any given time, so as long as you are still flying, some other poor sap is unemployed. If you really cared about other pilots, you would quit so they can take your jobs and feed their families. Hypocrites.

What a weak arguement. Your showing your true BloJet colors now with a statement like that. Your pretty much an idiot now but I'll humor the second paragraph.

And I do look out for myself first but I am not going go help a company flout a contract and furlough other pilots. If it's the only thing out there for me to do, well thats another story. But there are plenty of jobs out there. You GJ pukes saw a chance to skirt the senority rules and took it at the expense of other guys who are being sent home.

I'll make this same argument in any crew room anywhere but I have yet to hear GJ guys defend themselves so vigorously except here. Hypocrite? Who's the scumnag DOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUCHE BAGS? BloJet.

Thank you. You prove once again that to defend g0jet you have to be legally insane.

I was with you until that part in bold. You would compromise your morals and step on the necks of another pilot group to feed your family, if that was your only choice in this industry? Interesting...

If it's wrong, it's wrong all the time. I guess you are saying that you would be no better than the "go-jets scumbags" if a little pressure was applied (i.e. you lost your job and had a little trouble finding a new one)

And BTW, I wouldnt fault you one bit for going there if you had to. Nobody here or anywhere else will be contributing "Turkey Shoot Employment Fund" to help you out while you look for another job, avoiding go-jets. When it comes down to it, they could give a rat's azz about you, as long as food is on their table. You have to do what's best for your family, because you know they are doing what's best for theirs.
