Hey everyone,

Odd as it may sound, there seems to be a little bit of a pool filling up at F9. Just wondering if there were any other Frontier poolies or newbies out there, and what you may have heard about the class projections for Jan. Anyone know what the aircraft assignments were for the Oct and Nov classes?

While I have no evidence to that effect it does seem to be heading that way. Was told Jan. or possible Dec. class but haven't heard anything since. I believe somewhere along the way someone mentioned as little as 2-3 weeks notice so Jan. is still realistic I suppose. I suppose the airplane assignment will come with the class date as well.

was just filled. Those folks interviewed in very early Nov. There are supposed to be 2 classes for jan according to Mary...Good luck

Yeah, that's what I mean. I interviewed in late Oct, but it is rumored that some people who interviewed after me have started class already. Mary also told us Dec or Jan, maybe even Feb, but I guess I'm just getting a little antsy. Oh well, I guess I'll just enjoy the Holidays!

Hi all!

I was interviewed in October and told to anticipate a December class with 2 1/2 to 3 weeks notice prior to the class date.

It happened exactly that way. December 15 Airbus class and notified by phone call just under 3 weeks prior.

Congrats on getting the job directintercept. You'll like it here. Any idea on how many will be in your class? If so would you also happen to know the breakdown between 320/737 in that class? Thanks in advance.

Honestly i don't know the breakdowns, although everyone on December 15 is in the Airbus. I know there was a class of 20 in October which was 10 Bus/10 737, as well as a class of 3 (all 737) in October as well. I believe there was a mid-November Airbus as well, but im not positive on that.

You should be getting called soon for a class if you interviewed in late October I'd imagine. The January 5th class is starting to be filled now with folks that intervied in that time frame. There is also another class planned for January 19th. Both I think are planned to be most if not all Airbus. That could always change though.

Just curious......what day did you interview on?

Yes Jet Raven, what D-Bo said. I believe January 5th will be 9 or 10 newhires for the Airbus. Congrats and enjoy! Call me a Kool-ade drinker, but it a great group to be employed with- a positive place!!!

Jan 5th

Hey all,

Just got back from a weeklong visit back east. Mary called me on the 15th to tell me I will be in the Jan 5th class. I feel much better now . She said she thinks Airbus, but as always, can't count on it till it happens.

Seriously, I'm looking forward to it! It will be a tremendous change from my last job - I don't know anyone at Frontier who doesn't love it! See you all there!

Went up to complete my "tests" and find out the details about when and where. All I have to say is wow! Great bunch of folks. Things are a little bit discombobulated but I think they are playing catch up with the demand. I believe that there are good things happinin'. As a senior friend of mine says...

Get goin' and be flexible!

Details...

Its all the BUS right now...
off reserve in three months...?
two weeks of indoc
one week off (probabaly not now)
two to three weeks a/c training
one to two weeks till they get to you on IOE
two trips on IOE

...all the time on salery

2 1/2 to 3 years and captain with 5 to 6 hundred below us!

I am guarded and... nothing is ever as advertised but this could be very very good!
