Last Friday afternoon, Delta notified Freedom Airlines of the termination of the 50-seat, 34 aircraft Delta Connection operating agreement with them due to operational performance. Separately, Delta’s operating agreement with Freedom involving fourteen 76-seat aircraft remains intact

Is that like fired on the spot clean out your desk and get the @#$% out or is there a time line for phasing the lack of service out?

If true that reduction alone is more than the initial round of 50 seater cuts announced a few weeks ago. Also, if true that would be a great way for Delta to shed some RJ's without having to eat any additional contract termination penalty.
