I don't care where the CR9's go as long as "Freedom" or "Mesa" never, ever again flies an aircraft dressed in Delta colors.
They made my commute "living hell" last year when they were flying to my home city. What a useless operation all round! Good riddance!

Dont worry, you can catch a ride on our ERJs come next month and the month after.. :) Dont forget to stop by the flight deck and say "hello"

Im here! Im here! Im here!..I was getting my hair cut

*sits down at the press table*

I saw this coming from a mile away. I believe this cancellation of the 900 flying is going to end up with a different outcome than the ERJ case(Delta all together wants out of the 50 seat market). I believe this will have the same outcome as the Pinnacle case. My guess is that JO will go to DL and plead for another chance like Pinnacle. He will use the Contract TA as a bargaining tool.

Peanuckle didn't resort to Litigation to resolve it. Face it, MAG is done.

Hmmm....And Brad Holt resurrected the 900 certification process, what, a month ago? I don't believe in coincidences in this industry.....

If investors pulled out before, wait till tomorrow....

And by the way Pdub20s, "Preeching" should be "PreAching". Another reason not to fly on FD, yet again made quite obvious by the level of educational achievement required to attain employment there.

Read the announcement again.
"Because we own the 14 CRJ-900 aircraft, which have been flying primarily in the Northeast, we will reallocate them to other Delta Connection carriers."

I think that line is critical. Delta went for pinnacle's and then realized they wouldn't be easy to replace so they "gave them a second chance." I don't believe delta will give freedom another chance.

now....if you were a regional airline why exactly would you ever want to do business with Delta?

You may have a point there.....

My gut tells me that a BK announcement is near...

Your gut is usually right...

About 50 or so in each seat in JFK on the 900. Plus if DL prevails on the ERJ side, we are looking at having that shiny TA everyone is so excited about sit on the shelf in exchange for a canceled contract and furloughs out of seniority.

more like 30..and they will just return back to the mesa side not requiring any training since 80% of the pilots came from the mesa side. With out the TA, we wont get out of BK

No financial institution is going to finance us out of BK without a cost structure for the pilot group

Which of these vultures will pick up the 16 CR9s?

A.) Comair
B.) ASA
C.) Pinnacle

or

D.) This flying is gone.

Vultures? And we actually believe there is a "brotherhood"?

Signed,
Your fellow "vulture"........
