And back in the days of the clippers landing on the river Shannon in Ireland, even the stewards were dressed in double breasted uniform with white caps, getting the recognition and respect deserved of a crewmember looking after the passenger's safety. Giving immaculate service was the frontline and obvious part of the airline experience. How we have changed!

A uniform should be complete and worn with pride. We are losing sight of this and some "mickey mouse" carriers should take note.
