Nope, don't buy into that. Not when the charter sell off approaches 25 percent of your daily total.
Good, prudent planning would prepared for what Flexjet SOLD the owners.
We will provide you with YOUR trained crews, flying YOUR owned aircraft, maintained by YOUR maintenance staff. And YOUR owners service department would have complete control from start to finish.
We all know charters are a necessity now and then. But they should not be part of the normal course of business. The owners are not stupid. If it is cheaper for Flex to charter aircraft instead of having Flex managed aircraft, then why not do it yourself and save the middle mans cost????
I think the current management philosophy has let down the owners in many ways.
The truly sad thing is that in the future, after all the damage is done, Fred will be gone for personal reasons, and all the same very hard working, conscientious employees will be around trying to salvage what is left of a proud reputation.
