Back to the original question though, has management at Citation Shares, FlexJet, or Flight Options made any statements regarding the NetJets TA?

Recently Stephen put a note out regarding Day 8 travel and requesting airlines for crews at or after 1800. As our goal is to get all crewmembers home at a reasonable time on their last day, we must assure that we create a cushion of coverage in our schedule for the upcoming day to react to recoveries and growth in demand. It is a balancing act that we need to closely manage to meet both expectations and be successful at. Please find below the guidelines that we need to adhere to consistently each day to achieve this;

* Last Day Travel (Day 8) - Scheduling is to request airlines for ALL crewmembers (Regardless of demand) for their last day at or after 1800. If the crew is on the west coast and need to travel home to the east coast, then the request may be earlier since airline availability begins to cease after 1400. This also can be executed in locations where there is limited airline availability.
* First Day Travel (Day 0 and Day 1) - Scheduling is to request airlines for ALL crew members for their first day on the first available airline unless trips are already scheduled and we need to adjust airlines to fit within the crew members duty day.

* In addition, please keep in mind that we need to closely monitor the changes we make to crew members for their first day. Many crew members need to arrange transportation, childcare arrangements, etc. When we schedule a crew member and make excessive changes where they are scheduled to come out late, early, late, early, it makes it difficult for the crew member to make arrangements to meet their flight schedule. I know most of you will say that this is driven by the optimizer runs. However, if the scheduler is aware of the demand for their cabin type and intervenes when necessary, we can avoid the majority of these issues.
