Wow, Dooker! Don't let that chip on your shoulder get in the way or anything...

I think the suggestion of offering incentives in turn for effieciency is great.

I will argue about the nja/flex point he tried to make though. If I had a gazillion bucks you bet your hiney I'd be flying a Lear or a Challenger, not some excel, hawker, citation or p180. In my opinion flex in general has always catered to a slightly high class of the upper crust because they are the only ones offering truly superior aircraft across the board. I think renegging on that by keeping planes too long will only shoot them in the foot so I hope Dooker's earlier post was wrong. My husband has talked to owners who admit they fly with Flex because it makes them feel superior to their other flying friends. I think that says a lot and just like boys will always compare theirs I think the rich play the game even better so I say if flex can continue the status advantage it's in their best interest.

But I'm just a girl... What do I know, right Clubordfo! ;)

Dooker -- I was responding to the post of smartelephant. Since you are so intelligent and possess such incredible wisdom, I am sorry if my post bored you. I would say "you are welcome" but your post of "thanks" is not genuine.

Also, again in my opinion, please do not confuse a "class" or group of persons with the "class of people" which has nothing to with how much money they may have. Their "class" is based upon they way they treat others. Some of the NJA pilots who have flown me and my family are some of the "classiest" people I have met. Please do not confuse money with class.

As always, fly safe (and if you weren't so pissed at those you fly it would probably be helpful to you).

Why the "fly safe" peppered throughout your posts? Do you really believe that by paying more you are "safer" flying with netjets or when you are chartered or than on any other fractional, charter, or commercial aircraft?

Dooker you write your posts as a very uneducated, small minded person. Considering the cadre of people we fly around, I am amazed you can hold your own talking to them!

But again it could just be the way you wrote your response that makes it read bad.

jonjuan - As for the safe flight, its funny how different people can read and see different things, I never noticed that at all, and I dont work for NJA, he just signs it, havent you heard that saying a million times at the FBO from the line guy , its not unheard of or derogatory in any way I think.

Jj

If jonjuan did not misinterpret my comments and make incredibly far out inferences he would not have any response. I have been ending my emails with that for 4 or 5 years. What took you so long to try and turn it into another comment.

Fly safe.

What "cadre of people" is that? The rich? Personally, I haven't noticed that they're any better or worse than the "cadre of people" I sit beside on the airlines. They just have more ********************.

I guess what rankles me is everyone's cow-towing to this alleged Netjets owner like he's some kind of savant just because he sits in the back of a private jet. I see it all the time out on the road, too, the way some pilots act all warm and giggly when one of our "'owners" (horribly degrading term, actually, "Massah Johnson, can I get your Luis Vuitton for you?") actually makes eye contact with them or remembers who they are.

And as for your comment, flexwife, that I have a "chip on my shoulder," well, yeah I do. So should everyone who works for a paycheck and has witnessed the massive deregulatory wealth reallocation experiment this country has undertaken over the last thirty years. The U.S. is now little more than a hollowed out shell of what it once was. To paraphrase Warren Buffet, the rich have been on a space ship, while the middle class has been on a treadmill. And the fact that our industry even exists doesn't necessarily bode well for our children's future.

This "cadre of people" we fly around are the winners. We're the losers. Believe me, if I could find another job right now doing anything else that would allow me to support my family, I would leave this racket in a heartbeat.

NJA Owner, I always enjoy your post. I wished you were at Flex, I'll bet the crews at NJA enjoy flying with you. (Try a Lear or Challenger, they're addicting too.)

Dooker, usually you crack me up. But you are reading way the hell more into it than the guy meant. NJO, nice post.

Statistically yes; factional flying is safer then any other type of flying, 121 included. It is several times safer than charter in general.
