It'll be great when folks stop requesting OT. How is it that a lot of our captains NEED it, and some how the Fo's are doing just fine without it... hummm..

Why are you trying to make this an FO vs Capt thing? Surely you are smarter than that. This idea you have is due to your perspective. You are probably an FO that only sees when a captain gets OT. As a captain I see when an FO gets OT. Simple as that my friend. Don't get me started on CAFO.

Nope, I can't understand how a ca making north of 100,000 needs ot. There are only a few legite exceptions. we all have to cut back as necessary to make ends meet. Some of our guys on the street still haven't found work, no medical, a mortgage and a spouse that stays at home. Its tough out there. I've run into more than my share of Ca's bragging about all the OT they've scored. Talk to them a little more and you get to hear about all of their toys. I guess I haven't been around any fo's hungry for ot. Many of us joining the company more recently have been through many layoffs since 2001. I don't wish that on anyone. Lets get our guys back.
Where's the unity????

Mother Russia needs lots of money and the big mortgage + the luxury car need to be paid. But keep in mind that the more you work, the more left over catering can be taken home. So no need to go to the supermarket.

Did anyone see the clumsy attempt to suppress the topic of OT on Bluebelly? Two guys (one of whom has a reputation for being a total skeeze) traded a few shots, but the original message that started the whole thing was deleted.

Seriously, why not just delete the whole damn thread?

Pretty funny.

whats bluebelly?

I remember that dude, what a tool.

On a positive note, a few of the furloughed FA's have been offered contract positions with Flex. My friend was told the flying is picking up a bit.

What's next-offering furloughed pilots part time contract positions?
