Hello: I have been building an EX-3 for what it seems a lifetime, 3+ years . I am getting close to completion. I am a retired commercial pilot living in Florida, but haven't flown for about 5 years and general aviation for over 25 years. I have a tailwheel endorsement. I do plan on getting a Tacaero EX-3 course just before the build in complete. However, I would like to get up north in cooler weather in for a week in August or September to a flight school and fly a cub or other tailwheel aircraft for dual training and possibly some solo. The goal is to get proficient on tailwheel flying. Cubair in Wisconsin seems a good option. Would appreciate any other suggestions or recommendations.... Washington, Oregon, New York, New England States.... Open to traveling anywhere, the most importantly is a knowledgeable, experienced instructor and well maintained aircraft....
Thanks,
Jaime
