Scary times! Time will tell, I hope contracts and aircraft sales mean more to Bombardier than they did to Textron...

Fred Reid "retired".

I call BS. No one in corporate aviation management would voluntarily "retire" a week BEFORE an all-expense paid trip to the NBAA convention...

;)

DALLAS, Oct. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- (www.flexjet.com) – Flexjet, the Richardson, Texas-based division of Bombardier, announced today the appointment of Deanna White as President, effective immediately.

"Since joining Flexjet in 2005, Deanna has demonstrated a strong track record of identifying and maximizing opportunities to enable profitability," said Pierre Beaudoin, President and Chief Executive Officer, Bombardier Inc. "Deanna possesses a passion for driving strategic change and implementing business plans that support the organization's long term strategies. I am pleased to recognize her accomplishments with this appointment and look forward to her continued leadership as President of Flexjet."

Deanna White brings over 25 years of experience from a variety of positions of increasing responsibility. She joined Flexjet in 2005 as Director, Finance, was promoted to Senior Director, Finance in 2007, and in 2010 was promoted to Vice President of Finance and Administration. Prior to Flexjet, Deanna had a progressive 15-year career with GTE. During the GTE-Bell Atlantic merger into Verizon, she joined Genuity, an Internet company spun off from the merger, as Director of Accounting. She spent three years at Genuity before joining Flexjet.

Deanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Tampa and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.

Deanna replaces Fred Reid, who is retiring from the organization.

"During Fred's tenure, he was a passionate promoter of Flexjet and fractional jet ownership. We thank him for his service to the Company and wish him well for the future," said Mr. Beaudoin.

I'm glad his boss finally fired ..... oopps I mean retired him. Good riddance. Lets see how well he does on TX unemployment.

What would he need with unemployment when he has a lucrative retirement package from Delta...
