Good question CL. The company has been "slow walking" the negotiations. The sooner the pilot groups are combined, the sooner the bottom line will grow for the company, hence their push to get it done sooner vs. later. The delay comes when protections have to built in for ALL the pilots and the company doesn't agree.

With all of he issues that are going on at NJ you would think that KR would want to get the Flex/FO unification and negotiations done right away so as to take advantage of settled labor situation when he starts to go after NJ.

If there is a delay he could be getting the Gulfstreams right at the time the temperature is rising with the Flex/FO work force. Just as it is starting to at NJ.

Will he miss this opportunity? My guess is yes.

Progress is being made but soon the company will try to force another wedge between the pilots. Having the pilots dress differently shows they are separate groups. Next they will put everyone in different hotels, reserving the better rooms for the Flex pilots. "See how nice we treat you? You don't need a union." Soon after that cgf will send someone to the hotel with the Flex Pilots. They will just happen to run into the pilots and want to treat them to lunch/dinner on the company dime
