the first 7 have gone by pretty quick. Looking forward not back this is goiing to be great. Never even thought once about staying.

Thanks to everyone.. Can't wait to start.

I was told (IAH CP) that the 30 new aircraft are going to replace some of the older ones (this was before the 500 anouncement) and to put on some lines that the the RJ is doing perhaps. Also freeing up some 75s doing transcon so more international will be available as well.

Cle wants more traffic so might see a little improvement there and well the said when the 787 arrives "It will vastly open opportunities for international out of IAH"
retirements looking at 1 per day until then end of the year then 1 every other day next year.

I hope everyone finally makes it to where they want...

your enthusiasm is appreciated. glad to have you join the fresh bunch of Continental newhires. you'll have a lot of fun figuring out your new job. the EMB-120 is a good stepping stone to the 737. bunch of switches scattered about that could've been simplified in their layout. fun and forgiving to fly.

you'll clear your 100 hrs in less than 2 months and soon be on your way to 2nd year pay.

congrats to you and your family.

Thanks I am really grateful for this opportunity. Although I don't remember much about the 120 I do remember my arms were tired at the end of the day.

I need something forgiving to fly. The fun will be having a great bunch of guys around to work with.

Thnaks all

Did you have internal recs?

I'm not bummed out that she got hired, I am actually jumping for joy about it. I am a little bummed that she won't go to groundschool until the spring though.

Not to mention, the first one to get hired at a major owes the other one a day at the spa.

So, it looks like I get a free spa date out of it.

So, I am pretty happy about that. Now just to get me on over there. LOL

If your looking for a facial, you came to the right place:laugh:

Congrats!!! I am just finishing my first year and have had absolutely NO regrets!! CAL is a great place to be!

I wouldnt go that far.
I would...

She reminds me of those sorority chicks that got all angry when you dumped them 'cause they wouldn't do the things the non-sorority girls would do. Well, if you don't like it, maybe you should learn to play the game better instead of going off in a huff.

Kind of like botching your CAL interview... ;)

My bet is that she doesn't do that, either... :D

Oh yeah, for the original poster, congrats! Can't believe that screen name wasn't taken already...
