Add one more to the pool!! I posted this in another thread too, but what the hell, I'm so friggin' excited I figured I'd put it up here as well. Waited 55 days (not that I was counting) and finally got the green light last week to hit the purple pool!!! Just a quick thanks to all those I pm'd for support while I considered jumping off my house for 7+ weeks (It's a one story bungalow). I am SOOOO relieved. What a feeling. Thanks again. WOOOO HOOO!!!!!! Taking the wife out for the $300 dinner tonight to say thanks to her for putting up with all of my crap since day 1. What a gem. See you in MEM!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Does anybody out there have a pdf (or other) of the FedEx global route structure? The old man wants to see all the places FedEx flies. PM it or the link if able. Thanks.

Congrats Quiet Flight!

Now let's get down to brass tacks. I heard from a 72 panel instructor that the training dept. said not to expect new-hire classes until August. Is that a guess by the training department or have they been told by the bean counters when they can start up again. And, if so, when are they going to tell us? Anyone in the know, know?

The latest RUMOR I have heard is no 727 S/O classes until then. But other classes (F/O) will run between now and then. Probably starting in late May. Who knows, who cares. I'm enjoying swimming for a coupla days. Then I'll worry.

Speaking of Gems, why not a new diamond anniversay ring. You know, the three place setting the girls drool over... might as well have the two of you drooling....

:pimp:

If you are junior in your Boeing seat (like me) you go to a few places with "Grand" in them. I went 10 years in the Air Force without landing at Grand Forks and now I get my mail there. Love it though!

Congrats and good luck!

Grand Forks

And more pheasants than people. As you can see by my avatar, my dog and I have a keen interest in pheasants.

Now skykid, I spent eight years in the Air Force, and was unlucky enough to spend four at the Forks. Heck, we don't have pheasants that far North, minus a few stragglers from released pens... it is just too darn cold. Hence why I moved to Nebraska, where we have plenty of pheasants.

Anyway, Skykid is right. The more Junior you are, the more times you head to places with Grand in the name.

True enough, but you are within striking distance of them from the Forks! Nebraska has a ton more birds than my home state as well - Colorado. The lastest MOAB rumor is now they are going to release the bid much later in the year so as not to interfere with most upland bird seasons or the Colorado Elk muzzleloader season.

As long as my class date for the MOAB is Jan or later, as not to interfere with pheasants and waterfowl, I am all happy.

Skykid, that is probably true about the release date of the MOAB. I heard from a friend's, uncle's, neighbor's, vet, that the person in charge of the MOAB is on a Spring bear hunt in Canada, and won't get back to work for at least another month. That would push the date to at least after elk and upland game in Colorado.
