So I just heard on my last trip that FAM's are trying to push this new deal through that would give them priority over jumpseating pilots for the j.s. Anyone else heard anything of this and if so, what is being done to prevent it?
I think they're trying to do this in order to "line check" FFDO's. If neither crewmember is an FFDO, they would have no reason to be up front. If this happens the FFDO program will go downhill fast
Here's a link. The FAMS want to make sure the proper procedures are being followed since the US Airways incidentI swear to God you are mentally challenged. Line check FFDOs? What's next, line checking passengers? Why don't we line check you in the mouth with a giant rubber dog turd.

any and all FAMs would be welcome on my jumpseat any day for any reason. You think they have such a wonderful and easy job, apply for it and see if you can get through their training course.
you frickin' morons.

Just wait until you try to go to work around the holidays and these guys use their priority to bump you out of the jumpseatany and all FAMs would be welcome on my jumpseat any day for any reason. I would not mind them in the jumpseat, nor would I mind FA's in the jumpseat... so long as they all understand that ANY pilot from ANY airline has priority in the seat.
The ONLY way to retain control of the JS is to exclude all non-pilots
