Ok, I'll cut you some slack since we both flew the CRJ! But, I don't know how the "Ho" comment fits. And, I don't know how any of my posts could warrant such harsh comment?

Fair enough.....I'll back off too....kind of pointless fighting anyway.....was just frustrated at the direction this thread took.....looking for some decent info and all he11 breaks loose

Thanks for the response. I think this thread was about the Falcon 50ex?

To stay on topic, I am enjoying the 50ex the more I fly it. It has quirks but the boss likes Falcons so I must as well. It is not a democracy. Otherwise, I would want it to be a Global, Challenger 605/300 fleet. Hey, a girl can dream...

With all due respect, I have kept the thread on track at least in terms of keeping the discussion limited to the Legacy vs. 50EX as much as possible. It isn't until G200 sticks his fat face into a thread that it careens out of control.

You want facts on the EMB jets I'm the man to give them to you. If you believe anyone else you're being misled--these guys are referring to airplanes from ten years ago or trying to call an EMB-135 a "Legacy" and it just ain't the case.

It's a great airplane. Rugged. Reliable. Outstanding systems design and ergonomics. Everyone should fly one.

I think we all agree they are BOTH good airplanes in what they do.

Yes, and while the Falcon 50 does a couple minor things better than the EMB does, when you line them up and put the check marks in the boxes the Embraer comes out way way way ahead, at least from my perspective.

You guys need to go to the control panel and change your settings to 40 posts/page. Then it's only 4 pages of stupidity. :pimp:

It's only stupidity because you disagree. There is a tremendous and unwarranted (not to mention *COMPLETELY* ill-informed) anti-Embraer bias out there. Oh, well. Looking at 150 (1250 total) and counting and the #3 aircraft manufacturer on the planet. 99.967% Dispatch Reliability. All the jealous girlie men at Gulfstream and Falcon should stick that in their collective pipe and smoke it. ;)

And I would dump all the 50s and 2000s and go with the Legacy. The additional capability the Falcons might enjoy are negated by SOPs so why pay the extra $ for a 2000 or pay the same price for a tiny 50EX? And when one looks at reliability and DOCs, the Embraer beats the heck out of both of 'em. Alas, a man can dream...

Global? Now that would be fun.
