Are you for real? Do I or would I give a sh*t if a nationwide strike was called about the legalities. What are the police going to come to my home and arrest me for not going to work? Last I knew work was an option not like jury duty. I go to work, I get paid, I don't go to work I don't get paid.......

Sure you might say they have nothing to lose but the way things are going for pilots, it wont take very long til we wont have much to lose also.

History lesson -

When the pilots struck at Continental (ALPA?) the pilots picket line was not honored by the other unions on the property. SCABs were already trained to take their place.

Lorenzo had orchestrated the companies finances so the strike would put the company into ch11. As soon as that happened he then used the bancruptcy to void all the other contracts.

Legislation was then passed to prevent an instant voiding of CBA's in future ch11 filings. Now a federal court must decide if and what parts of a CBA can be modified by an airline in bancruptcy.
