You're right about that, but I try. I LOVE FLYING THIS AIRPLANE. Not the biggest, not the fastest, and not the longest-legged, but a mighty fine gal all the same.AA717driver said:LegacyDriver--give it up, man, your airplane just isn't gonna get ANY respect on this board...![]()

Listen to him LegacyDriver, he's right. Now normally, nobody here would listen to a guy AA717, but he's redeemed himself by flying a real corporate airplane, not a pretend one, to make up for all that airliner-junk he was slumming in before.AA717driver said:LegacyDriver--give it up, man, your airplane just isn't gonna get ANY respect on this board...![]()

I finally figured it out....the only thing that can possibly explain the seemingly inexplicable; your absurd and freakily weird Legacy obsession......LegacyDriver said:You're right about that, but I try. LegacyDriver, YOU LOST YOU'RE JET-VIRGINITY TO HER, DIDN'T YOU!

(I'm trying to resist..trying to resist...trying to...Aaaaaahhhhgggg!)TOGA said:My god, I hope you guys are not serious with all this Legacy bashing. You do realize that it's not the pilots that choose the airplanes, right? Ok, so it doesn't have the performance or range of a G-IV, but if Joe Executive or Susie Richgal wants to go from HPN to VNY (just as an example), I can certainly see their logic in choosing 'the same airplane' (from a pax standpoint) for half the price.

*SPEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW* (Sound of Dr. Pepper spraying all over monitor.)
HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!! I love that!
Not the first, not the last, but definitely the best.
CatYaaak said:Dr. Pepper is the Gulfstream of sodas!
Now you know better than to ask me BigD... THAT'S a question you'd have to ask one of the Gulfstream drivers.bigD said:So you're saying that someone that drinks Dr. Pepper is compensating for having a small penis?

Well, at least I know who is responsible for single-handedly lowering the average pilot IQ score by 30.voteno said:EMB = Piece of Sh!t........Adam Sandler says it best....Piece of sh!t car.
It is the only airplane built by short barefooted people with wheelbarrows and shovels!
They need to mount them on poles in schoolyards and let them weathervane in the wind with a loudspeaker yelling DING. PIECE of SH!T!

I clearly don't understand bigD's interest in and preoccupation with the size of my penis, however, he may be able to find someone to help him with understanding his issues and getting in touch with himself here :bigD said:So you're saying that someone that drinks Dr. Pepper is compensating for having a small penis?

I Guess your I.Q. has not let you fly a Boeing or McDonnell Douglass product yet! You will DEFINITELY be able to tell the difference!LegacyDriver said:Well, at least I know who is responsible for single-handedly lowering the average pilot IQ score by 30.
I guess I overstated your IQ a bit. I don't fly for ExpressJet and never have--they don't fly the 140.voteno said:I Guess your I.Q. has not let you fly a Boeing or McDonnell Douglass product yet! You will DEFINITELY be able to tell the difference!
All EMBRAER products are SH!T!
I am sure you have been to the Embraer factory as I take it you fly for ExpressJet. Do wheelbarrows and shovels and short people come to mind?
I guess your definition of enjoy is much different than mine.....my definition of enjoying flying is driving around a J-3 low and slow, a helicopter at treetop level, or wringing out a Pitts/Extra....not driving around an automated jet. Driving an automated jet around the world is a job. I'd much rather do that than sit at a desk, but it's still a job.LegacyDriver said:I like to ENJOY myself when I fly. Automation, automation, automation. Thankyouverymuch.
Like the man said, we were talking behind your back.FracCapt said:I guess your definition of enjoy is much different than mine.....my definition of enjoying flying is driving around a J-3 low and slow, a helicopter at treetop level, or wringing out a Pitts/Extra....not driving around an automated jet. Get off of your holier than thou kick. Go ahead...tell everybody how I lower the IQ level of pilots since I don't dream of flying a Legacy..
That's ok...I don't mind people thinking I'm the village idiot...they don't expect much from me that way....but at least I'm not one of those guys that has to list every type rating they hold because they are compensating for something else....AA717driver said:FracCapt--The rest of us have been talking behind your back for some time now. Flying isn't a job? Not at all? You're one of the very few if you honestly look at it as all just fun and games. I enjoy flying....but all things being equal, I'd rather be flying low and slow(or low and very fast) than boppin' along at .80 at FL370. I'd much rather be flying a jet around than sitting at a desk, though. Glad you enjoy flying your whiz-bang Jungle Jet....to each their own...LegacyDriver said:If you can't enjoy flying a Legacy (or any airplane for that matter) then you have issues. I love to fly, but flying jets is a lot more fun for me than flying a Piper Cub--and yes I have done both. This sure isn't a job to me. I love flying. Working at Wal-Mart as a cashier is a job, not flying a jet.
Nah.....I haven't flown an F-16, so I'd jump at the chance. That's a helluva lot different than flying a bizjet around. I'm even trying to get a ANG fighter slot...but, also applying for attack helo positions. If I'm lucky enough to be offered both, it would be a tough decision....down and dirty in an Apache, or yankin and bankin in a fighter....I hope I'm lucky enough to have to make such a decision! You must be one of those twisted individuals who would pass up a ride in an F-16 for a J-3. Not me man!![]()
I'll try harder next time....promise....I wouldn't want to disappoint all of you that are talking behind my back..As for lowering IQs...that requires a stupid, uneducated comment like, "Embraer's are sh*t" or something equally ignorant. I didn't see you type anything along those lines so your IQ appears intact.
I need to get something straight here, because I'm a little confused by the terms being used. I know you fly for a certain regional, but you are always referring to the E140 and Legacy. I thought the Legacy was just the corporate version of the E135. Is there an airline version that is called the Legacy?LegacyDriver said:And the Legacy is a fun plane to fly.
