So you're saying that someone that drinks Dr. Pepper is compensating for having a small penis?

Now you know better than to ask me BigD... THAT'S a question you'd have to ask one of the Gulfstream drivers.

(jumping in a foxhole too)

EMB = Piece of Sh!t........Adam Sandler says it best....Piece of sh!t car.

It is the only airplane built by short barefooted people with wheelbarrows and shovels!

They need to mount them on poles in schoolyards and let them weathervane in the wind with a loudspeaker yelling DING. PIECE of SH!T!

Well, at least I know who is responsible for single-handedly lowering the average pilot IQ score by 30.

I clearly don't understand bigD's interest in and preoccupation with the size of my penis, however, he may be able to find someone to help him with understanding his issues and getting in touch with himself here :

Freakin' hilarious, guys! I dunno, I'll just fly what they pay me to fly. Hell, I'd fly a C150 for a few hundred bucks a day, ya know? I mean, who really cares what we're flying, right? CatYaak, you are a seriously twisted individual, and I have the utmost respect for that predelection. As for the Legacy as a "real" corporate a/c . . . who knows? It's cheap, it's reliable, and Joe Richguy doesn't have to decide which bags he wants in the cabin & which he wants in cargo. Many will choose it, it'll become a popular bizjet . . . many won't. Whatever. See how a coupl'a 'biggie size' IPAs from Chilis makes me so agreeable? Buenos noches.

I Guess your I.Q. has not let you fly a Boeing or McDonnell Douglass product yet! You will DEFINITELY be able to tell the difference!

All EMBRAER products are SH!T!

I am sure you have been to the Embraer factory as I take it you fly for ExpressJet. Do wheelbarrows and shovels and short people come to mind?

I wouldn't say that, because I fly a Gulfstream my penis is longer.

I would hope, however, that, because I fly a Gulfstream the girls THINK it is... :p TC

Maybe that's why I was so mesmerized at the sight of a G550 last week...

Nah...pilots are prone to exaggeration.

I guess I overstated your IQ a bit. I don't fly for ExpressJet and never have--they don't fly the 140.

Why would I ever want to fly a Boeing or McDD jet? They were (for the most part) designed back in the Stone Age. I like to ENJOY myself when I fly. Automation, automation, automation. Thankyouverymuch.

It's obvious from your ridiculous comments that you've never even been *in* an Embraer, much less a Legacy.

Go away kid, ya' bother me.

I guess your definition of enjoy is much different than mine.....my definition of enjoying flying is driving around a J-3 low and slow, a helicopter at treetop level, or wringing out a Pitts/Extra....not driving around an automated jet. Driving an automated jet around the world is a job. I'd much rather do that than sit at a desk, but it's still a job.

Get off of your holier than thou kick. Go ahead...tell everybody how I lower the IQ level of pilots since I don't dream of flying a Legacy..

Now that you mention it...

FracCapt--The rest of us have been talking behind your back for some time now. But someone has to have the lowest IQ around here... ;) :D TC

Like the man said, we were talking behind your back.

If you can't enjoy flying a Legacy (or any airplane for that matter) then you have issues. I love to fly, but flying jets is a lot more fun for me than flying a Piper Cub--and yes I have done both. This sure isn't a job to me. I love flying. Working at Wal-Mart as a cashier is a job, not flying a jet.

If low and slow is your gig, definitely invest in that helo, meanwhile, I'll be enjoying my Jungle Jet.

You must be one of those twisted individuals who would pass up a ride in an F-16 for a J-3. Not me man! :)

As for lowering IQs...that requires a stupid, uneducated comment like, "Embraer's are sh*t" or something equally ignorant. I didn't see you type anything along those lines so your IQ appears intact.

That's ok...I don't mind people thinking I'm the village idiot...they don't expect much from me that way....but at least I'm not one of those guys that has to list every type rating they hold because they are compensating for something else.... :D

Flying isn't a job? Not at all? You're one of the very few if you honestly look at it as all just fun and games. I enjoy flying....but all things being equal, I'd rather be flying low and slow(or low and very fast) than boppin' along at .80 at FL370. I'd much rather be flying a jet around than sitting at a desk, though. Glad you enjoy flying your whiz-bang Jungle Jet....to each their own...

Nah.....I haven't flown an F-16, so I'd jump at the chance. That's a helluva lot different than flying a bizjet around. I'm even trying to get a ANG fighter slot...but, also applying for attack helo positions. If I'm lucky enough to be offered both, it would be a tough decision....down and dirty in an Apache, or yankin and bankin in a fighter....I hope I'm lucky enough to have to make such a decision!

I'll try harder next time....promise....I wouldn't want to disappoint all of you that are talking behind my back.. :D

There are times when it feels like a job, I must admit. Like on the fifth leg of a 14 hour duty day or on a Reduced Rest overnight, but all in all, I love it. And the Legacy is a fun plane to fly. It is just pilot friendly and takes all the work out of this "job".

:) Good luck with the ANG slot. That's a great gig.

Go to your respective corners guys. Everyone gets something different out of flying. I enjoy the GV and I really enjoyed the 717(call it slumming if you must!) but I'd also love flying a cub around at 80 kts.

As long as you are happy doing what you're doing. Peace out...(or some such nonsense! )TC

I need to get something straight here, because I'm a little confused by the terms being used. I know you fly for a certain regional, but you are always referring to the E140 and Legacy. I thought the Legacy was just the corporate version of the E135. Is there an airline version that is called the Legacy?
