In light of age 65, i think it's appropriate for those in negotiations not to settle for equal % raises that see the lion share of the money on the table go to captains- but rather have an equal $$ raise.
ie: %:
captain $170... 5% = $8.5
fo- $100.... 5% = $5
why the disparity?
especially since every captain just got a windfall financially in having the ability to work 5 more years- delaying our upgrades and all pilots movement.
Seems much fairer to give a straight dollar figure raise across the board- the greater % raises going to the most junior and thus the most affected by age 65-
