Do you think that if their had been an abundance of hiring at other airlines, and the economy had been in better shape, that JO could have pulled off what he did? It truly is frustrating to see the contracts that both Mesa and MAA have, but for a lot of pilots out there, there are no options. Many pilots out of work, or at Mesa are not twenty something people with all kinds of time on their hands to wait out an increase in hiring. They are forty and fifty something guys who had their careers pulled out from underneath them. Putting food on the table for their families is what is on their mind. And don't tell me they can always find work outside aviation, because it ain't pretty outside of aviation either......

First of all you people need to get your facts straight on the pay at Mid Atlantic. MDA is payed Eagle rates with the FOs earing top pay on the scale or $35.75 per hour = $35,000 per year max. The captains start at $57.29 per hour or $58,000 first year and then increase with longevity. Eagle rates are higher than Mesa, and its important to point out that Mesa only has a 60-76 seat pay rate. If the larger EMB175 goes to MDA, another pay rate will have to be negotiated because Eagles rate is only for 60-70 seat aircraft. I'm not saying what the mainline MEC did was great for the industry, but no one under cut Mesa as that would be impossible to do.

That remains to be seen. I think the real worms of this industry are the ones beating their chest the loudest right now.

I had JO's Private investigators chasing me and quite a few others in a bizzare game of hide and seek.

Please keep your homosexual fantasies to yourself.
