You are absolutely right on the current length of their rates. I suppose the point I was trying to make is Delta's union will still be able to negotiate the share Delta pays where as Jetblue is transferring almost all of the cost of the insurance to the employee.
At the current rate for the HRA money is being made.

When employees quit ... and they will ... the company keeps the money in the HRA.

$20,000 is accurate when considering premium, in network deductible, co insurance maximum, co payment and then out of network deductible and co insurance maximum.

Then the deductibles (in and out of network) and co payments maximums (in and out of network) reset every year.

This is apparently the case. I hadn't added in your premiums. I also don't quite understand why you are paying in and out of network deductibles either. I would love to here it though as all my discusions with our pvc members always got me to the $8800 mark for my max worst case scenario, plus premiums of course.

If all your providers are IN NETWORK that is the correct except you are $200 over.

$2600 + 6000 = $8600.

Then add RX expenses and premiums.

Some providers of medically necessary treatments are OUT OF UHC/Anthems NETWORK of participating providers .

For instance if you live in Pocatello Idaho. Is there a breadth of providers that are all in network (UHC or Anthem)? Sometimes not.

Chiropractor, family counseling, child development (autism) mental health, physical therapy, acupuncture, injury or sickness out of the country, etc is mostly LIKELY out of network and subject to the separate out of network deductible and co insurance limit.

Your exposure is $8600 plus the additional out of network deductible and co insurance maximum.

That is close to $23,600 per year plus the cost of the Green Plan and RX expenses.

BTW, the PVC doesn't know Richard about much. If they are your source then get better sources. The PVC should not be talking about anything to anyone unless they hire a third party to educate the pilot group FIRST.

The PVC guesses and that is about IT!

Also JB does NOT cover Autism. While collecting media praise for having autism family days and pretending to to take autistic families on trips by taxiing around the airline employees here get NO coverage.

Also if you are in network and lets say your hospital just happens to need the specialist from the next town over because their guy is not available YOU will not be notified if that doctor is out of network. They will perform the procedure and 30 days later the letter will come in the mail with an additional $3900 bill through no fault of your own.

Or better yet take this scenario. You are on vaction kid falls off the water slide bone sticking out screaming etc.. Its december 30th you take your child to the nearest facility whick turns out to be out of network. You will be responsible for nearly the entire bill. You pay the 3000 bill. On Dec 31 you go to your local hospital with comlications and then trigger the $2600 deductible and then the 20% copay while the american doctors correct the issue. they take the xrays and decide that now they want to do surgery for the compound fracture.

We DONT have an existing condition carryin clause so on new years day you reset. You come in for surgery and the new $2600 deductible new out of pocket max and 20% copay trigger. In this scenario you could experience nearly $30,000 in out of pocket in three days.

Think it cant happen? I know one pilot and this is EXACTLY how it happened however he was lucky it was 2011 it only cost him $10,000

Plus look at family budget it is entirely possible that the new bluejet plans have you paying more for health coverage than for your mortgage.

Also have to ask 300-600% increases in one year whats next? next year cost?

Blueside so are you saying i just made it up for no reason? The information came from the horses mouth all i did was passa long what i heard. What else do you want to defend? our healthcare? reduction in premium? refusal to address committee research? fsm 07 10?????

what else are we all wrong about?

By no means did I imply you are wrong about everything; other than the Instructor pay. Of course, I may not always share your opinion but that does not make you wrong and me right. However, the information on the instructor pay you posted was just not factual.

If you indeed heard it from the horses month you are most likely talking to the wrong horse. (Call OSC and ask BN)

For the sake of our training department I am happy I was incorrect.. I stand corrected.............For Now

OK, then I am 100% correct in stating a merger is not happening............. For Now

However, our stock price is on the move which could be interpreted either way....
